External ads for gems isn’t working
I have completed 4 quizzes for gems. One said I had to get 100%. I got a 90%. Oh well. Time wasted. One said I had to get 100%. I got 90%. The only way I missed a question is if it was written so lightly I couldn’t read it on the screen. This quiz was easy but intentionally misleading. Time wasted.
I also completed two actions that said, “Answer three questions and get a reward.” I answered 5 in both cases and didn’t receive my reward. The ads are time wasters and don’t even function properly. What a load of rubbish. If you can fix this to be reasonable it might be a good game. Otherwise stop wasting my time.

Not optimized for iPhone 11
I downloaded this game when I still had my iPhone 7 and when I switched to an iPhone 11 I noticed that the display is just a zoomed in version of the iPhone 7 version. This causes problems with balls getting stuck in places they shouldn’t because the path is too small due to the change in format. I also have this issue with the geyser section because the bottom platforms don’t spray the way they’re supposed to. A solution I think would work is either allowing the zoom feature to reveal more of the map or adding bars on the top and bottom to keep the main screen the same aspect ratio as the iPhone 7. Also because this wasn’t tested on iPhone 11 it’s harder for me to access the perks because they’re right at the top of the screen where the little notch is on the 11.

Zen idle review
I’m always a fan of idle games and this one is pretty fun overall but there is only one thing that I would change. The ability to get diamonds is kinda hard if they would add some way that you could earn diamonds when you prestige it would kinda make it more fun to play and I wouldn’t have to worry about searching for hours to find some way to make diamonds.

“Zen Idle” is not so Idle...
I enjoy the game a decent amount because I’m a busy person and can’t play the game consistently, but what I’ve figured out is that you make substantially less if you were to just play idle instead of leaving the game open.
For a game marketing itself on being idle, it’s pretty frustrating not being able to progress further because your limitations are based on actively playing. I hope this can get fixed for the future as I really do enjoy the concept and upgrade system of this game.

Derivative, but High Quality
As has been mentioned over and over, this game is very derivative of Idle Zen. The monetisation is much more aggressive too, which would be understandable if the game was more original.
However, the game is incredibly well implemented and the original features, such as the card system and challenges, are well designed and implemented. My only gripe with these systems is their purpose as money makers rather than gameplay enhancement.
All in all, the game gets a 3/5. It has the quality that Kongregate games consistently deliver but the monetisation, though optional, is still a bit too aggressive for such a derivative game.

iPhone 11
I really like this game (hence the 5 stars) but I just got an iPhone 11 and it’s not formatted right for the screen. The level bar is hidden. I know the developer does regular updates, so if you could look at this it’d be great.

Fun game but last level won’t unlock
I spent weeks getting enough cash to open the last secret level. Today I finally got it and excitedly clicked to open the last level and nothing happened. Closed and reopened the app. Nothing. Just an unresponsive button. Addicting game but I feel very let down right now. Hoping for a fix soon.
