Mislead

We bought this chair for full price three years ago and were assured that Human Touch offers outstanding warranty and concierge customer service.
At the moment, I can’t get this app to work on my new phone. I see that it has not been updated for 2 years.
We recently moved and needed assistance moving the chair to our new home. No response from Human Touch.
Last, the sound quit working on our chair and we have tried to reach customer service because it is under warranty. Still crickets.
So disappointed and frustrated. This is supposed to be a premium product.

Love the chair, interface is severely lacking, app is horrible

First: I really do love my chair. Is it annoying to go through multiple menus to get what I want each time I sit down? YES. Would I LOVE for it to at least remember basic settings like my desired default time, NO beep, etc? You BETCHA! Does it keep me from using it? Of course not. That being said, if 1/4 of the attention that went into the engineering was applied to the remote the whole experience would be exponentially better… enter the app. The app actually has the ability to make up for the interface shortcomings, but from what I can tell, no real innovation or creativity went into it. This is then compounded by the fact that it doesn’t work with current devices (like the iPhone 13 I am typing this on). Luckily I still had an old iPhone 11 with a cracked screen laying around that I can leave on the chair… of course it ONLY works to pipe my Sirius XM Spa channel into the speakers… and occasionally classic vinyl (the Rolling Stones are surprisingly good with the audio sync feature). On behalf of all of us who invested so much money into these chairs, please hire a decent software writer to create an app that A) works on current devices and B) meets our basic desires like saving a favorite massage profile, etc. PLEASE!!!!

Needs ability to save favorite programs/settings

As other reviews said - the hardware (massage chair) is good, but the fact that you need to go through multiple menus to set up your favorite program every time is ridiculous for the product that costs $8k-$10k. It is not possible to fix the functionality of a remote at this point, but should be easy to do in the app.

This is sad in this day and age

The app is rudimentary. No difference that the remote. With the power sitting in the phone it should have profiles and setting by family member. The Alexa skill just flat out does not work. The sales person must have mentioned Alexa 50 times. Not everything needs to be Alexa but it you are going to do something, do it well. I would be happy with just a well made app.

Needs a customized user settings that can be saved!

Make profile settings option so we can save what we like. Nothing more disappointing than when you’re tired and just want to get into the chair and push a button to go. Nope, you have to go into each option, heat, height, width, cloud, massage type etc... each and every time! I’m sure the mobile app can be programmed to do such. Please listen to your users! It’s an expensive chair. It deserves better customization.

Your poorly made app lost at least one sale

Due to your lack of interest in addressing all these negative reviews and failure to fix the app, I am going to pass on this chair. I was just about to purchase it from Costco and thought I’d check the app reviews first. Glad I did. Do better.

Please fix and improve the app!

The app doesn’t work at all. Through Bluetooth I can get music to play through the speakers but that is the full extent of functionality. Pressing any buttons on the app doesn’t control the chair at all. What a shame, would be great if the app would add customizable options. As it is now, does exactly what the controller does but again, as of April 2020 doesn’t work at all.

Sad app and Alexa integration

App doesn’t connect, or stay connected. Alexa adaptor doesn’t work, can’t log in. Sad for $10k , this chair is supposed to be innovative! Everything else is top notch, just that the future technology doesn’t measure up here. App and Alexa integration needs complete make over ASAP. Come on human touch!

Zero effort app

It’s really sad you can’t make a decent app for a $10,000 chair. I’ve been disappointed by the “smart” features of the Super Novo. Their Alexa bridge is nothing more than a Raspberry Pi Zero strapped to an amazon basics USB charger and the software barely works. I was hoping this wouldn’t be a similar letdown, but here we are. I’m really starting to regret buying this chair.

Won’t work with my iPhone 11

This app won’t stay connected to the chair. I’ve reinstalled the app and it still won’t work. Customer support for this is poor. Buyer beware.
