  • Worth the upgrade

Edit: bug fixed promptly so it is a 5 stars from me.
Worth the upgrade for the Brickwall filters alone. However in Cubasis 2 it forgets settings when reopening a project. Will revise review to 5 stars when it gets fixed.

    Update: fixed and working great

    Thanks for the quick update!

We've just submitted a 3.13 update to Apple with a fix for the problem when opening saved sessions. Unfortunately we can't offer upgrade discounts for users of the earlier in-app plug-ins in Auria: we don't know who purchased them and the App Store doesn't let us do custom discounts per user. Likewise, we can offer a Pro-Q 2 -> 3 update via the Pro-Q 3 Upgrade Bundle, but this doesn't let us give a discount to existing Pro-Q 2 users if you are purchasing the Pro Bundle right away. The App Store system just isn't that flexible. This is one of the reasons for the vastly reduced prices on iOS compared to our regular plug-ins for Mac and Windows.
  • Simply thank you

I would like to thank the team at Fab Filter for affording us IPad producers, the opportunity to have these high quality music tools at our disposal. Very greatful! Was hoping for this! GOD bless you! I pretty much have every music plugin for iOS, but this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to stop and write a review in addition to giving stars.

  • Pricey, but worth it

It might seem like a lot of money for an iOS app that’s mainly just a plug in - and it is - but the quality and utility of this app is amazing.

It seems to be equal function-by-function to its computer counterpart, and the same functions map beautifully to touch input as well. It’s probably the simplest, easiest, and most versatile tool of its kind on the App Store.

For computer users, this plugin fantastic, but also a big jump in price from plenty of other good, cheap plugins. It’s price/utility is probably not right for all users. On iOS the price/utility is a no-brainer. There are other good plugin apps, but nothing in this class, despite much lower prices. The only real danger is that it might make you want to buy its far pricier computer counterpart.
