  • Brilliant Idea, Excellent Game!

This game is fantastic. It’s a great way to learn to think like a programmer without having to worry about syntax or constant typing. If you have a competitive streak or just like watching your ideas come to life then this game will inspire you to push yourself, both creatively and analytically.

Even if you have no interest in programming, playing this game will teach you problem-solving and how to think more efficiently.

And if you ever feel stuck, just check out the Wiki and the forum to learn more about the game, see existing strategies, and discuss ideas with other players!

  • Great Fun

This is such a fun, stimulating game. The multitude of game modes allow you to choose what your robots will specialize in. It allows me to easily code and have fun. Great work!

  • Very Good Man!

Not a typical game for this current era, though it aught to be. Very good tool for improving your critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and instills the basis for learning how to program. Starts with a very simple small set of commands, but rapidly opens up more and more complexity by not only new commands, but building the simple commands into designated sub routines.

It might not be for everyone, especially if you like matching colored dots. You just need to try it and you’ll be hooked, or you won’t. At the very least it’s a one time purchase...no bags of gems or hero shards. In the age of pay 2 win, this is a welcome surprise.

  • Fun but difficult

This game really benefits a programming mindset, which isn’t a surprise. The difficulty curve is rather steep, but making progress feels very fulfilling.
  • Love the game

I used to program in high school and although it’s a lot simpler it still feels fun to play. It can get annoying at times but that’s when you solve a bug and find 20 more. Great job making this game you guys and I hope it gets huge. Might want to lower the price a dollar or two cuz not many people like buying mobile games at that price. Probably the most I've ever seen any creators listen to their community so thanks for listening to us!

  • A very interesting title

I’ll keep this short and sweet. You make AI for an army of robots in a surprising easy to learn interface, and test them out in combat. It’s increasingly satisfying to see an AI you made to fight other people’s programming. The tutorial gives you all the information you need very quickly too. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a new creative experience.

  • Suprised

I saw this and was intrigued, so I thought I’d dig a little deeper and found it on Steam, and you should check the reviews on there!
Honestly as great as they make it out to be, it’s still better.
You have to play it to fully understand, and it seems like a game that you could play forever, so more than worth the price!
I mean, even the tutorial is fun!
    Two thumbs up from me.

  • Nerdy fun!!!

This game is extremely well thought out, and the interface is super intuitive. For example I didn’t have to play the tutorial to know what the glyphs on the tiles mean. Kudos to the developers for making the ultimate battle robot programming game. As far as programming games go, this is near the top of my list, perhaps only below TIS-100, but that one is not for everyone, if you’re old enough to have programmed a 6502 in assembly language then you’d enjoy it, otherwise this would be my first pick. If you’re wondering if you should risk $7 on this, let me ask you, what was the last thing you spent $7 on? BigMac and Fries? This is a lot better, I guarantee.

P.S. If your robot is not moving, it is 99.9% likely it is bug in your code, and not this app, so please don’t get your shorts in a bunch! :)

  • Amazing Game

The concept is so refreshing, you do all you’re work before the battle and then see how it played out, tune it up and try again. Virtually no one will have the same robots because of it. It is like testing you’re logic skills vs your opponents. Creativity and thoughtfulness is rewarded. Great to see only cosmetic IAP and essentially a pay once and play game. I support that all day long.

Asynchronous play is a huge plus for me so I can play against my friends when it is convenient for each person to do so.

Fantastic and highly recommended. Can’t wait to see how the game evolves over time and nice to see the dev team actively supporting their work.
