  • Not a Bad App

The game itself is pretty fun and the concept is unique. I think getting used to the game takes some time as well as getting used to the app. I wish there was a little more guidance because I got stuck at a part but the hints were a little too vague and no help, and I somehow ended up bypassing half the game on accident. I’m unsure if you’re supposed to play the game as you unlock things, or try and solve everything from the outside first and then work your way in. I’m still experimenting to see what works best, but there is definitely potential!

Hello Yazzberry, thank you for your feedback - and well done on figuring out the adventure!
  • Game is broken

Instructions of app do not align with physical game - hints refer to hidden cards. Very frustrating!

Hi JohnDoe, sorry to read you're having issues! If you are referring to location tiles/cards, remember you can always peek through the corners for information. If you think you stumbled in a bug, though, feel free to reach out at digital [at] craniocreations [dot] com and we'll be happy to help :)
  • Broken! Do NOT buy the game!

While this is a great concept for a game the app is completely broken. It definitely left out vital details that made the game impossible to finish correctly. Attempting this was just frustrating.

Hello Lizzie, apologies for the late answer - we have updated the game with a bunch of bug fixes so hopefully everything works properly now. If not, feel free to reach out at digital [at] craniocreations [dot] com anytime!
  • Very interactive and fun with friends/family

They definitely updated the app (for those looking at older reviews) and we just finished the Family Portrait. Played this is broad daylight and was still very eerie and suspenseful. The app is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. Very well set up and was a lot of fun. Hope to see and buy more expansions from you guys!

  • Kinda broken

Me and some friends played this game a discovered it was a little broken, the app would tell us to remove certain cards when not necessary and we’re needed to be used later which caused the rest of our play through to be broken. I wouldn’t really recommend.

  • Unplayable

Like previous reviews have mentioned, the app failed to tell us to remove certain location cards, which ruined our playthrough of Lord of the Labyrinth early on.

Hi Usagineko14, thank you for the feedback - just remember, you can also peek diagonally if there's enough space! I'm mentioning it as one of the first riddles of Lord of the Labyrinth requires to do so. However, if you feel there might still be an issue, feel free to reach out to digital [at] craniocreations [dot] com and point out which Tiles are causing you trouble, so that we can help you!
  • How do you misspell “mistery” when the game is called Mystery House

    Seriously.....

    Developer Response

Hi D_Wol, thank you for your feedback, it definitely slipped under the radar! We hope at least the rest of the game is fine :3
  • Game is broken

Just got done playing (lord of the labyrinth). There’s times when you interact with a location, taking an object, but the app does NOT tell you to remove that location card. Then in hints it refers to a location card behind the one that we weren’t told to remove so obviously it should have been removed, but again we were not instructed to anywhere. Very frustrating and makes game impossible to complete. Developers, go back and play your game and you’ll see what I mean. Great concept, mostly solvable riddles, but bad execution.
