Downgraded the FW to 4.8.0 as per instructions, purchased the license, changed to US market and all works perfectly.

Do not buy this app.
I passed around with this. Downgraded my firmware. Bought the “premium” license. In the end the derestriction didn’t happen after hours of this garbage.
I asked the app for support after I told them the premium license wasn’t derestricting and they stopped responding to my emails altogether. Don’t waste your money.Show lessCost of gems borders on a scam

It's not true at all. I don't have any unanswered emails and support all of my customers. Moreover, you insulted me and my App in every possible way from the very first email, and despite this, you received full support. There is no any issues with the App, you derestricted your bike using the App. I have no idea why you lie to everyone.Waste of money
Brought this and it wouldn’t work. I tried 3 different phones and it still didn’t work. I emailed them and had no help in trying to sort out the problem. Total waste of money.DiscoDan101

I have no email from you. Moreover, I have never heard of any problems with connecting to a bike with a Shimano motor. Are you sure you are using the program for its intended purpose?Speed

Great app
Great app so easy to use, licence took about 3 mins to get in the email.
Loaded to the bike so easy. You can see all the details of the motor and battery charges.
Set to USA then decreased the wheel size to about 1300.
Rode the bike up the roads like a different bike altogether 👍
Also had great support from STunlock in down grading the software. I was missing a stage and they sorted for me.
They gave fantastic customer service.
For the price they charge it’s fantastic well done guys 👍

Not working latest FW E8000
Bought this for the sole purpose to change my region since YT sent me a motor from the wrong region. Bought premium version but it does not work! Stuck at 16 mph. Please update

I paid for the premium license but the premium features menu items don’t show up. Not sure why? I DO have the STEPS 8000 and the 8000 display per the manual.Schilling3d

I was forced to download this app by SHITMANO themselves as their ‘latest’ update rendered my spangly new ebike useless. I hadn’t even heard of this app but having delved into a few forums to try and figure out how to use the built in USB function which SHITMANO thought it would be amusing to leave out of the new app 🤦🏻♂️
So far, this app seems to have a lot of functions for fiddling with the motor and plenty of scope for really nailing and fine tuning assist settings rather than being limited by SHITMANOs app which only allows to change it between 3 settings 🤦🏻♂️
