Absolutely amazing changing my videos/photos into 4k enhancing my edits everything is just perfect the down side is it only offers a 7 day free trial then you gotta pay but revert thing else is just perfect I still use this app a lot
It’s a Scam
I only downloaded this app for the feature of trying on different hairstyles, and as far as I can tell, the whole thing is a scam. I paid 0.99 for the AI to use my face and put the same exact hairstyles used in the ad on my head. There were no other styles to try or use, it was the same exact 5-6 they used in the advertisement. Whatever, I didn’t think it was a big deal because I only paid 0.99. Now, there was no active subscription on my Apple ID account, and I didn’t see one even when I signed into the web browser with my Apple ID, but I was charged another 9.99 for an app I removed from my phone almost immediately after using. The app developers are scammers, even though I emailed and re-downloaded the app (same day as charge) to unsubscribe to a subscription I wasn’t aware I had ever authorized, they still didn’t want to refund because of “terms of policy.” AKA, the fine print that they don’t want you to read so they can get money from you. So now I’ve given a trash application 9.99 more than I planned, and have to dispute it through my bank because the app developers are unethical and quite frankly, thieves. Don’t give them your time or money, the app is absolute trash.

The old Remini was natural - newer Remini distorts your features
I used to love this app when I started using it around 2019 because it would improve the quality of your photos without changing your appearance. It kept you looking natural and exactly the same, but would just sharpen your photos and smooth them, but in a natural way.
I noticed around last year that they made changes, like you can add or remove the beauty effects, however even when you disable those effects the photos now still completely change your appearance by making subtle changes to your features, like your lips and eyes, and makes it look like you have makeup or bigger lips. Why have you done this? Some of us don’t want to distort our appearance or make ourselves look “more beautiful” by your standards.
I only want to improve the quality of my older photos. I don’t want it to look like I have used something like Facetune to make my face look unnatural and fake.
I hate this and do not use this app now for this exact reason. I wish Remini would go back to how it was many years ago because even disabling these effects still leave your facial features looking different and fake

After the new update could not save so I deleted it.
After your new update I had to delete your app. I watched the videos then I clicked to save it and your app wouldn’t let me save it after watching those ADS. So I deleted your app.
Update on your app. There’s been no improvement to fix the problems with you app and what your charging for your app isn’t worth it. Your app would be great, but it need some major work done on it. I’m still old school, digital photos are great, but still love my 35mm camera. Here’s the problem with your app. I took out some old photos one major photo is of my dad and his best friend. I used your app and Oh My God, I couldn’t believe how your app took a photo that was slightly blurry and needed some tone adjustment and your results was horrible. Your app took my dad’s friend glasses on his face left part of the glasses on his face, the other half was on his lips. Part of his lip was up to his nose, and the results got worse. So I did it again, and it came out the same. I took another old photo used your app again the results was very bad. Out of all the photos I tested your app on, I only got one good results. For some reason your app changes the person face. I restore old photos but wanted an app that wouldn’t take me a long time to restore. The old fashion way could take me almost two months. The Post-Processing of the App is SHRINKING the image results.
I have been using Remini since the early days of its launch and have been a paid user for near enough the same amount of time.
During that time, my own personal experience of improving and upscaling images to get the best results, has greatly improved.
However, since the last few updates.. The app doesn’t seem to handle portrait photos or headshot photos particularly well.
Post-processing, it is shrinking the overall image result (dimensions) down to around 1500x2000 from 3000x4000 (example). And there also seems to be a lot of “image processing” left over on the image after the upscaling result. Which ultimately downgrades the final result and ultimately downgrades the app’s usage.
Increasing the size of the image beforehand means a MUCH higher chance for better results, then applying a slight blur filter to remove jagged edges. etc. Once the photo is ran through the app, the resulting photo is then auto-downsized (via the app) to (a lot of the time) under half of the size I’d increased it to.
I am using the most current version of the app and the iPadOS 18.0.
This seriously needs a FIX!!

MAKE SURE YOU SAVE PHOTOS AND CONVERT!
This app is actually the best. I wasn’t a fan at first because I didn’t know you could disable certain things they automatically put on with the enhancement features ect but now that iv seen it, it’s been an absolute game changer just make sure when you save you pics from the app, save them from photos into files and then convert image to PNG original, then save the higher quality.
My photos and videos for IG have never been so clean cut and crisppppp 😲👌

Hugely disappointed.
I went into this app hoping and hoping that it would actually perform. I almost gave up because I kept wanting more and more information about me. They keep asking they keep trying to get everything they can. I almost gave up. But then finally I tried several of their filters and programs and let me tell you they are just simply garbage. I don’t know if they pay anyone for these great reviews but, look I’m really into AI and I’ve tried many different and this one is just childish garbage. The restoration only did a small amount of sharpening. I can do that on my iPhone. I am shocked at how terrible these people are. Believe me don’t waste your money. Find out for yourself and do a trial and then cancel immediately like I just did. But take my word for it. If you expect professionalism, And an app they can actually perform, turn away from this disappointment. Nothing works well. They’re just trying to get your money and thinking that you won’t remember to cancel. We have his garbage and so are the people who put this together. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Be Very Cautious
Do not purchase this App unless you are 100% sure you will want to keep it. I signed up to a 7 day free trial. They took a payment of £9.99 after that which is fine, my fault for not cancelling in time. However when went to cancel to avoid a second payment I realised it doesn’t show in subscriptions so couldn’t cancel that way. Also doesn’t show in recent purchases. Because of this Apple say they can’t help even though have provided evidence of a payment out bank account. I followed the cancellation instructions Remini supplied via a search but the options they tell you to choose in app are not there. When you go through settings in the app you get an error message when select cancel option. I contacted Remini via the app over a week ago and has been completely ignored and they tried to take payment yesterday and again today, only reason couldn’t get the money is because have a new bank card and number has changed. So if don’t want the app after the trial you better be prepared to keep paying for it!

Face Editor Now Gone…Ridiculous Bait and Switch
The Face Editor is now completely gone…I can’t believe I paid for a year’s subscription and they ended up taking away features that made me subscribe to begin with. The new update this last week to this app causes color gradient banding on enhanced photos, so it essentially makes enhanced photos WORSE than the original. Ugh…stay away from a Remini if you’re considering subscribing like I did. UPDATE: Those of you who read reviews before buying an app, just sort the reviews by most recent to see that most everyone hates this app these days (any recent 5-star reviews are short one-liners…aka FAKE REVIEWS, probably written by Remini). This company consistently makes this app worse with every update, taking away features, and ruining the features that used to work great. I noticed that several supposed “AI” enhancements are simply changing the tone and brightness nowadays - you can do this free with your phone and tablet’s built-in software. Oh, and as a paying customer (I got duped into buying a year subscription), if you message them to tell them what’s wrong, they just ignore you. This is a horrible company that I wished never got any of my money.
