I lost the majorly of photos of myself when a tragedy happened in 2008. I used your app to faceswap and edit pics to make pictures look like the images I lost. Now that feature is gone. And you don’t even list what the difference between pro and normal. Every reply you give to the reason is a copy and paste corporate reply. It didn’t enhance any of the features. In fact you made it harder to use. It’s slower and clashes now. I suggest anyone else not get pro or if you have it cancel it. I think I know the real reason you removed it and it’s not to enhance features which makes no sense. It’s a money issue definitely not a legal issue since before you couldn’t swap or deepfake video. Such as for what whatever programs people use for political reasons. (Guessing they are computer only). Even if you added more features which you didn’t except one which is minor it doesn’t enhance anything except maybe you saving on serve space cost which may explain the worse app design and speed issues. I use to work in IT for a major website before the tragedy.
You copy and pasting a reply may be a common practice but it isn’t with companies that actually care and wish to continue business.Show lessDeveloper Response
We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with our app. We'd like to investigate this further and help you find a solution. Don’t act like the customers are idiots, you know exactly why this app was ever popular, people can get a million other lame photo editing apps, yours was one of the only ones that did face morph/swap fairly decent without having to use a web platform. Stop replying to these negative reviews without transparency, just tell people you have too many lawsuits from the non consensual face swaps and you had to dump it to remain in the App Store. People will respect transparency; and we are much savvier than you think.
*edit* responding to the dev*
Well, you can choose to remove the feature and that is absolutely your purgative; it’s just a shame your devs and this app won’t be running in six months time. I’ve looked through the reviews since you made your decision. And out of 5000 reviews, you had one positive review. And that person wrote that they accidentally clicked on 5 stars and they meant to choose one star. So even your one positive review is still negative, that’s a 100% fail rating, congrats, that’s harder than getting 100% positive reviews. 100% percent of your customers are going to delete your job. But hey, that was your decision.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hello! We are sorry to know that you are not completely satisfied with the updates. Our developers decided to remove Face Swap because this feature doesn't really line up with our application's development concept.Bring back Face-Swapping
Sorry, but the developers are just downright wrong for removing almost the only free feature of this app, the feature that is why this app is even popular in the first place—the face-swapping/morphing effect.
The recent reviews tell all; they’re going to lose users who have been using this app for literal years. Myself included; I had this app since its launch. Over time, almost all of the features that used to be free became locked behind a paywall, but I could deal with it because, surprisingly, it still had the face-swapping effect and for completely free. I took great advantage of this for edits, but now I can’t do that anymore because no other app had as good an AI/software as this one did (besides, obviously, paying).
I truly don’t understand why they would take away this feature. TikTok users, Pinterest users, Instagram users—literally so many people used this. Of course I’m not apart of the team, but saying that it doesn’t line up with your “development concept” makes absolutely no sense considering this is an *editing* app and, honestly, feels like some sort of cop-out. I’m holding out hope they actually listen to their users and bring face-swapping back. This is getting so tiring.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hello! We apologize that our recent updates did not meet your expectations. The decision to remove the Face Swap feature was made because it no longer aligns with our application's development concept. We understand how disappointing it can be when a feature you enjoy is removed. We hope you will find joy in the other options we provide because our app has more than 20 free features such as "Big Face", "Makeup", Long Hair", and more. Our whole team is constantly working on developing new features that we hope you will find beneficial and enjoyable. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
