A useful crib sheet and faster than the online texts

Sometimes I find that the ebooks for archbold etc are a bit slow to load. This is fast, on my phone and gives a helpful snapshot of the key provisions in respect of each offence, guidelines etc. A useful tool.

Bug on iPhone 12 mini

Iโ€™m using an iPhone 12 mini iOS 16.0.2 (20A380). When I arrive on any sentencing guideline the screen instantly goes to sleep. When I tap it, I see an open video player but with no video to play. Bit odd!

Essential for Criminal Barristers

This is absolutely brilliant. Very easy to use, excellent & up to date. I cannot find fault. All levels of seniority should have this.

Genuinely has saved me time. Even if I know the sentence I always check before conferences. This makes things so much easier.

Cannot praise enough. A must have.

A really good app

It is a perfect little companion. I have read some of the other reviews and agree itโ€™s all in the detail but this is good. You may have to move back or forth a little with the legislation elements but itโ€™s incredibly useful, particularly at the nick or court, it is a quick reference guide and covers a lot of offences. Good job

Good app but

Detail is everything with this app. If itโ€™s inaccurate itโ€™s pointless so checking before release is crucial. The Burglary sections of Theft Act 1968 are wrong.

Response from developer

Thanks for your message. Burglary in the app is currently split into domestic and non-domestic as there are separate sentencing guidelines, so the section reference is to the maximum sentence in 9(3). I agree that this could be clearer so will amend the wording and issue an update today.

Excellent little tool

Think this will be especially useful for pupils and new tenants - excellent that it links through to the Sentencing Council guidelines and further provides references to Archbold/Blackstones.
