A few minor changes to make the app run smoother and more efficient. This will be the last version of Duty Pro which supports iOS 11 and below. To receive future updates, you will need to have iOS 12 or above running on your device. You can find out more about updating your device here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204204 As ever, thank you for your constant feedback and support!

A few little changes to add... You can now submit offence suggestions directly within the app. Simply go to Offences and click the plus sign in the top right corner and fill in the details. I will review and add them as soon as I can. A few little changes under the bonnet including some performance related issues. Fixed bug DPB-47 which was causing some users issues in submitting bug reports... ironically. As ever, thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions. If there's anything I can help with email hello@dutypro.co.uk or tweet @DutyPro Stay safe out there!

3.7.3

I have added "Copper's Glossary" which provides a glossary of abbreviations, phrases, mnemonics etc so you no longer need the awkward "what does that mean?" conversation with your colleagues. In addition to that, I've added some new functionality so you can submit your own items to the glossary directly within the app! Pretty clever, huh? All terms are manually approved and are done pronto. Doughnuts now have a new feature which allows you to send feedback regarding whether a particular snippet was helpful or not. Ultimately it means I can build a better picture of what you like and how helpful they are. Powers and Procedures have been moved to the side menu (top right from the main menu). It remains in beta as it is currently being completely remodelled to make it easier and more informative for you to use. There are a few user interface changes, but nothing major. Mostly slightly different colours to text and the font sizes are bigger on the Guidethrough mode for better accessibility. There are also a few other changes underneath the bonnet, but I won't bore you with those. Thanks again for your continued support. As ever, you can contact me @DutyProApp on Twitter, email hello@dutypro.co.uk or if it relates to a bug, raise it directly in the app (under About Duty Pro). Stay safe out there!

A few people were receiving push notifications and then skipping the data update so they weren't seeing the new data. This has been changed now so the new data will automatically download. Fixed a few bugs here and there, including an annoying one where it kept asking for a review. I've also added a section for notes in the simple view of offences to attach specific messages. Thanks agin for your support, as ever you can reach me @DutyProApp or email hello@dutypro.co.uk

A few minor bugs squashed! There's not much to report on this update. Most changes are under the bonnet as we prepare to migrate to a completely different system. More on that coming soon! As ever, get in touch @DutyProApp or hello@dutypro.co.uk if you have any questions, queries, recommendations of modification requests.

A few little extra bits and pieces under the bonnet pending a major release... For some users using the dark-mode feature on iOS, your app wasn't displaying correctly (blank areas where text should be, mysterious dark backgrounds... generally looked like it was permanently Halloween). Some users were also prompted to update their app version, despite it being up to date... this is also fixed. Thanks for raising these ones, Kasey! As ever, let me know any additions or bugs which you have, either through the app, through Twitter @DutyProApp or by emailing hello@dutypro.co.uk

3.3.1

A few little bits and pieces have been changed under the bonnet for iOS 13! Also, some framework has been changed and added for a pending major release... A couple of bug fixes and a new lick of paint in some areas, including a new style logo! As ever, let me know any additions or bugs which you have, either through the app, through Twitter @DutyProApp or by emailing hello@dutypro.co.uk

I've fixed a critical bug which was causing some specific devices to not open correctly (sorry about that)! Added another couple of bits and bobs whilst I was at it and corrected an embarrassing spelling mistake which I will never reveal to you...

  • Very handy when out and about

As the above says, handy when out and about.
  • Very good app.

As a serving officer, PocketSergeant has been brilliant however the UI was lacking. I discovered Duty Pro from Twitter, and after downloading the Duty Pro app I’ve been nothing impressed. Well worth the time.
  • Simply simple.

This is an amazing app for any new probationer officer like myself. It is incredibly easy to use, with each section broken down. I fully recommend this app to anyone within the police service and indeed anyone wanting to learn about British law.
