Great game but what is up with the Ads??
I LOVE this game. I can get so addicted to it and it’s one of the few cooking games I like. I downloaded this game years ago and had to delete it due to lack of storage. I’ve since upgraded my phone to the latest on the market and have all the storage necessary now to have this app.. sadly I have been experiencing these pesky ads that the game will not allow you to exit out of at times. While the ads are helpful to double coins or get bonus gifts or time to pass a level, it is NOT helpful that most of the time lately you cannot exit out of ads. It’s really frustrating when you are trying to complete a level and the game allows you to watch an ad for more time/customers and then you take the time to WATCH the whole ad only to not be able to exit once it’s finished. I’m forced to close the app and restart it only to have to start the level all over again.. I really hope this can be fixed as soon as possible. I want to keep the game but I will give up and delete the app if this issue continues to persist.Show lessLadyClaire24
Game is good but totally rigged for many levels
The game has the potential to be awesome, except for the fact that it’s literally rigged on several levels in various scenarios: each level has goals you have to meet to beat it, like serve a certain amount of customers in say 60 seconds. Levels like these are rigged to the point they don’t even give you enough customers or enough time to meet the goal, so they force you to use purple crystals (which are handed out skimpily to begin with), and if you don’t have crystals, then you have an option to watch a 30-90 second ad to continue, and sometimes you don’t even have that option so you lose the round entirely.
There are also levels where all your food is upgraded entirely so you have maximum coin earning potential for the round without boosts, you serve all the customers perfectly and on time, and you still don’t meet the level’s goal of earning a certain amount of coins to win the level, even when all food is upgraded. In cases like this, it means you must either pay for the combo boost or randomly earn it using coins or ad watching. The whole system is frustrating because they don’t allow you to play on your own skill for many levels; it’s rigged to get you to spend money.Show lessAlexyslindsey
Scammy tactics to get you to buy more
Overall the game is good if you spend the 2.99 to do away with the ads, but only in between levels. You still have to watch ads in order to get any sort of meaningful gains as far as earning coins.
I think the game is scammy because often times I served all customers but because the last customer isn’t given enough time to walk off screen, it doesn’t count so you’re left having to restart the whole level or use purple crystals to continue with more time. The amount of purple crystals you earn in between rounds is abysmal so you’re forced to keep retrying by watching ads or be advertised to death to buy more crystals.
It’s either a glitch or a scam and I really believe it’s the latter. If I served the last customer regardless of time running out, it should count.Show lessAds,ads,ads
Downloaded this game because it looked fun. Played 20 minutes and couldn’t take the ads anymore. Every level a ad! I understand that there will be ads to support free play but every level?? That’s too much! Game should be called “Cooking ads”. If you like to spend more time watching ads than playing this game is for you. I will be deleting! To be honest the ads are far far from balanced with play. As far as paying to remove ads, then it deletes the point of free play. You can do better as ive seen in other games. Worse app EVER
Haven’t been able to play in over two months. Developers are aware and haven’t done anything! Instead of creating new restaurants, they need to work on the glitches. Don’t download this game and by all means, DON’T waste your money because you’ll get so far and one day won’t be able to play. They just want your money, they don’t care if you’re actually able to play the game you spent money on. They need to stop begging people to link their Facebook accounts too because once you do, if you do, you can’t unlink. If you do unlink it, you won’t be able to play! Garbage!
Total garbage. Keeps linking my account to another account in the household, that’s linked to Facebook! Even though, I, myself don’t have face book. Now it won’t even load. Spent all that money on this garbage and now it won’t even load. Developer knows about it and want me to send proof of the money - I’ve spent on this junk! They know how much money I’ve spent on this crappy, garbage. Word of advice: Don’t download this app. It will keep asking you to link your Facebook, and after saying ‘cancel’ or no so many times, it will lock you out and not let you play anymore! No Way to Win
I love this game, but there is no wa for you to fully win without being on social media. I am a 56 yr old who plays games like this because I love to cook, it’s a nice game, but you have to share stuff, like on FB, and so on…..I don’t have a social media account, and I don’t want any. But there should be a way for folks not on those pages to still be able to partake in some of the things you get from being on those pages. You want us to send our money, but we get nothing??? Man listen
I’ve had a love hate relationship for this game. One time I surpassed the thumbs up and money and I accidentally double tapped and they made me do it again. Because you can through out food on some levels. It was a level I was trying so hard to beat to. If u don’t do every level they will ask more of you. It’s okay tho. U can rack up on diamonds easily. I’ve been through four Resteraunt. Sometimes they will ask you to make a lot food in a little amount of time. It’s okay if u like challenging phone games.Show lessOjkhgb
SATURATED WITH ADS
I will say I like the game BUT does there really need to be an ad between each game we play????? REALLY????? I feel like I’m watching more ads than I play. I pretty much put the iPad down and go through my email or start a game of solitaire on my phone and come back when it’s done.
I understand you’re trying to keep the game free but it’s SATURATED with ads. Maybe I would consider watching a few of them if there were fewer of them. For now, I won’t watch any of them because they’re the same ads over and over and over and over again.Show lessMvgvltn
Getting annoyed ads
Okay, I downloaded this games years ago and I enjoyed it. I don’t mind the ads because it gives me more jewels or life, but why is the new ads that is presented to me won’t allow me to exit when I click on it to watch so that it would give me another chance to beat the level. For instance, I needed to get 24 customers or money, but because I ran out of time I had 23/24. So it gave me the option to watch the ad to give me another chance, and when I clicked on it, it was a theater play ad that was telling me to sign up for tickets to see it. After the ad was done playing there was no way to exit the ad, so I had to exit the whole app itself but I had to start over the whole level again, and I lost a life, and it did the same thing when playing other levels. Overall, I really enjoy playing this game, definitely when I’m trying to kill time or just in the mood for it. I will give it a 5 rating simply because I have never had any issues with it before, it’s just that these new ads do not have an exit button after it’s done advertising.
