  • Thought provoking

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve heard on story work. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to go deeper and process their family of origin.
  • Bringing the Kingdom

There has yet to be an episode of your podcast that doesnt touch some emotional place in my heart and life. You were recommended to me by a friend and I was hesitant to listen at first. After listening to one or two episodes I was sold. My husband and I now listen every day and gain more and more insight into our marriage and healing path. Thank you for your role in my healing. The beautiful marriage between Christ and psychology is presented in your words and teachings. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I understand the time commitment and dediction podcasts take and appreciate this labor of love.

  • I don’t normally write reviews

But without being hyperbolic, this podcast has been transformative for me and my husband. When I found out I could support him to make more content by contributing $3 a month it was a no brainer. I tell everyone about The Place We Find Ourselves and challenge you to engage your heart with God in a deeper way. The app so far has been great. My only feedback would be to make it really obvious how to pay the subscription fee to get new episodes immediately. It felt a little convoluted (but maybe that process has changed).

  • The Palce We Find Ourselves

Best app out there for learning more about this human experience and specifically your experience in this life.
  • The Place We Find Ourselves

As one who reads a lot of self help books, I find this podcast to be very meaningful! I especially find the the connections that Adam makes, between the psychological and spiritual, to be masterful. Adam has such a kind way of inviting all of us to engage in our stories. I’m inspired!

  • Great!!!

    Very insightful, practical!
  • Adam Young is monumental in the healing process

This podcast has helped me tremendously in my spiritual, mental and emotional healing process. Diagnosed with PTSD from many traumas of my past, I always felt it necessary to look over that pain, as the cliche saying goes, “let go and let God.” But all the while not understanding that embracing my story was part of the process, acknowledging the hurt and the pain has allowed submission for God to fully shower me in His grace and love. And I could not have done that without this podcast. So thank you.

I will add one thing however, with a glitch in the website, I have been trying to be a paid subscriber for quite some time now and for some reason the pages never seem to load fully for me to do so. I tried on my phone to go to the website, and tried on my laptop but there’s always some glitch with the website that doesn’t allow me to fully put in my information. Please fix this so I can become a paid subscriber. Love you all God bless!

  • Amazing

Pure therapy couldn’t stop listening to episodes I think in three days I heard them all
  • Rich resource, take your time.

Adam's experience and reading is complemented by the experiences of his colleagues and clients. Carefully planned talks, organised progressively and in manageable bites. There was enough here to enable me to safely, gently and kindly revisit an old skinned over wound, and to be richer, not regretful. It’s under my control, I am taking my time though. My adult children are having a wee peek at some of the hurts I inflicted on them, and there are skills for how to stand with them. The podcast was recommended by one. We might be able to do something with this family of ours, after all, in God. Buy the app, bless the man for his commitment.
