  • What a great update

For the serious embroiderer this is a must. It is easy to navigate, helpful with color and even includes your shopping list. I have used it for about 3 years now and kudos to those that worked so hard on the newest update.
  • Works Well

Thread library is not complete, but growing. For people like me that do different types of sewing the app has a broad range of brands and products. This is important if you do machine embroidery as there are so many brands available. The features of the app offer the ability to build your current inventory as well as shopping lists. The developer is responsive to additions. So it is to our benefit when we submit thread additions for the app.

  • Great, a few tweaks possibly?

First of all there really isn’t another app with this functionality so if you want a solution for organizing your collection without ads and headaches this is the one.

I would like a few improvements to the interface, such as maybe a “my brands” button to quickly select a manufacturer that I use and then add to my collection from there. It would save a couple taps and/or scrolling.

Could the app be setup to scan barcodes from the spool to add to my library? Or could a notes field be added to each thread so I could make a note if I have additional quantities of a product or maybe what projects I used a particular color on?

Overall I’m very happy with the app and I hope it continues to be supported for a very long time!

  • Color Name

Would be helpful to have color name with numbers. Would love to be able to sort by name as well. I would also like to be able to add spools in the shopping list tab. I also purchase some spools in large only, small or sometimes both sizes so it would be helpful for me to size options. Good app, just needs updating with more user friendly updates

  • Very impressed!

This app saves me so much time converting from one thread brand to another. I love having all my threads listed in one place
  • Nifty tool and great developer

I read the reviews and wavered on this purchase. It is more expensive than my average app purchase. However, I just inherited a massive thread supply to add to my collection. This app made it easy to complete my inventory and organize my threads by color family. It is also easy to convert from Madeira Rayon (the color palette used by my favorite machine embroidery designers) into my thread collection.

In less than a week, this has become valuable to me.

I had a question about something I wanted to do, emailed it to the developer, and got an answer that morning. Great service.

    I highly recommend this.

  • Just What I Needed

Threadbook provides a great way to keep track of all of my threads. I had used my own spreadsheet or a manufacturer provided list to keep track of each line, but now have them all in one place that I can carry with me. When I found that one of my most used brands was missing, I contacted the developer and it was added by the next day. I am able to add missing thread numbers and correct colors from within the app, and create a shopping list too. Customer service goes the extra mile.

  • No counter

Disappointed in this. I wanted this for logging embroidery threads but there is no way to record how many of each colour you have. The FAQ gives a reason for this but it’s a deal breaker as far as embroidery thread goes, I need to know how many skeins I have. It might work well for sewing thread when you are only likely to need one reel for each project but it isn’t helpful for embroidery I’m afraid.

    Earlier:

I am mad that I paid $14.99 for this app. Most the the time I get a message saying to wait for library to be updated and even when I can access it, the colors are labeled wrong for the thread I use. If I want to submit a correction, I need to do each color in the brand. I also get an error if I try to send feedback
