App is not user friendly communication is terrible
This app is not user friendly nor is the communication. If you do not use their Apple Watch they will not call you and you can not call them. When you email them they take forever to get back to you. These are time sensitive issues. Also you are not in charge of your account. The app is always saying my son is out of his safe zone when he is not. The seizure app is totally inaccurate. Says he has seizures when he doesn’t and when he has a seizure it doesn’t detect it.

Excellent functionality, Superb support!
When my wife had her first episode of wandering, I desperately searched for an effective warning system. Boundary when combined with a door alert system makes a perfect pair. When I get alerted that an outside door has (thru my physical monitoring system), I always quickly check to make sure she's just sitting outside to admire the garden or something. Before using this Boundary app, however, I'd have to nervously hover behind the door to watch and make sure she's ok, while trying hard not to interrupt her quiet time. Now with Boundary, I can relax and let her be and know that if she stepped out of the yard, I'd get alerted and can jump out then.
On trips, Boundary is even more critical to help me care for her on unfamiliar terrain.
It does require a cell-enabled Apple watch, but she now loves having and using the watch even more than her phone. SO WORTH IT!
Many, many thanks Scott and Paul.
PS: yes, I did find the setup a little challenging coordinating her watch with my phone app, but I attribute most of that to the intricacies of the watch OS more then anything else.

Clunky to Get Started
This app was very clunky to start. Had to reset my password, but the app would timeout before the link to reset was even sent. Makes me a little nervous to rely on something that has so many kinks right off the bat. We’ll see how it goes. Not impressed so far.
Inconsistent
Boundary Care has been extremely inconsistent and definitely not user friendly. To have to schedule a call to get it back online defeats the purpose of consistent and dependable tracking
Trash
Absolute waste of an hour of my time. Let me first off say I worked at T-Mobile for years and was certified in mobile and internet devices. This set up process for this app is horrendous. They made it step by step but they do not include the mishaps that can happen along the set up process like for example it MAKES you set the app on a “face” of your watch but don’t tell you that only certain “faces” allow you to do that. I had to contact support for that. When I first started the set up process it also couldn’t connect to my watch. It also MAKES you have your location on at all times for the app, not only when you are using it which will severely run your battery life if you do not already know that. I had to contact support 3 different times through out the set up process and although they responded promptly they also mentioned how long of a “thread” I had with issues in our conversation, well….if your set up process wasn’t so complicated I wouldn’t have to reach out in the first place now would I? After getting through ALL of that, I can’t proceed because your watch HAS TO have a cellular service line. I repeat, YOU CANNOT USE THIS APP WITHOUT CELLULAR SERVICE ON YOUR WATCH. Which should have definitely been stated at the beginning of this long process and would have saved me an hour of my life. I wanted to use this app so I could go to the gym with my toddler, put the watch on my toddler and be able to be notified if my toddler left the child center (which we would both be in the same building). But since I do not have cellular service on the watch I cannot use the app, making the app pointless. I deleted it and will be finding another app for what I need. Waste of time and energy.

False reports
Potentially great app. But the number of false reports greatly diminishes its reliability. Such a shame. If that can be fixed it would be a winner. Unfortunately after months of trying the provider has been unable to fix it. I’m disappointed.
Excellent App!
It gives peace of mind that is invaluable to me. Simply knowing my loved one is safe and relieving daily stress that comes with worrying about them is worth the cost!
Peace of mind
My dad has dementia and my mom has physical ailments that prevent her from follow him around. This app was loaded onto his watch and now the kids, all over the country and locally, can work as a treat to keep an eye on him. If he takes a walk, we will know before he gets too far. We can also tell his heart rate and other health info. It was simple to set up and share with siblings around the US. It’s not a permanent solution, but it buys us time to keep him at home.

Nope
I am canceling my subscription, this app will often tell me that my dad has left the safe zone when I know he is at home, this has caused a lot of confusion. I was hoping that this would help my dad stay in his own home, unfortunately I will have to find a different app to deal with that. I hope it works for you, it did not for us.

Response from developer
So sorry that you had this problem! There are many settings that affect location accuracy (depending on your situation), and we urge any users encountering problems to contact us at info@boundarycare.com so we can help you optimize your settings. (The only issue that is beyond our reach is if the watch is in an area with spotty cell service and no wifi.) Please feel free to reach out if we can help.
