Description of Guardian by Elexa (New)

Guardian by Elexa is a standalone leak and flood detection/prevention system that installs with no tools or plumber needed. Guardian consisting of two pieces of hardware–the Valve Controller and the Leak Detector. The Valve Controller installs on top of your existing water main valve and can be used with any quarter-turn ball valve with a pipe diameter of ½” to 1-¼”. Each Leak Detector is battery powered and communicates wirelessly with the Valve Controller on a local 915 MHz RF network with a maximum range of 1000 ft. They can be placed near plumbing fixtures and appliances to monitor for water leaks. The moment water is detected by any of your devices, the Valve Controller will shut off your water main and you are notified immediately!     The hardwares are goo its the apps that is useless and it makes the product unuseable.
  • Awful software

    Hardware and concept are great but software and app are terrible. Tech support is non-existent. It has been like this for years.

    If you have the old app do not upgrade. I did and my system is useless now. Software is garbage.
