Confusing
Confusing with new changes. I send the dictation but then after given me the green check, next day it still looks like needs to be sent? As well it sometimes stops recording and I then have to go back and re-record. I wish my company would not insist I used this app.Developer Response

Opened this today. I think that it has upgraded itself (3.0 I think) and it is terrible. The active dictation now fills a much smaller bit of the screen and the image of the sound bar is very stuttering and so I don’t know if it is recording smoothly. Even if it is, it is visually very off-putting. I have no idea why this has change as I have not asked to “upgrade” it. Will fiddle with settings in the hope that I can revert to how it was last week, which generally was good.Show lessDeveloper Response
We're sorry to hear that our layout change in version 3.0 was inconvenient for you. In version 3.1, you can turn off the multi-column display in the Settings tab, Dictation section, under View Options. We'll investigate the stuttering waveform display, but rest assured this is purely cosmetic, your recordings work just as well as ever.Ridiculously expensive
This app offers nothing over the other dictation app on the Apple App Store that justifies its price. Only bought it because my dictation provider wanted it but it is a rip off.Update - great response
I had one issue with Dictate + that made it difficult to use. After contacting the company, an update was made, the issue is fixed and the app is now working well. Fantastic customer service and tech support.Developer Response
Dear customer, We apologize for the inconvenience. This sounds like a bug or user error. A subscription is supposed to get you an upper limit of 2GB files which translates to between 24h and 5.5h, depending on recording quality. Dictations get cut off for playback at 2/3 of the way through. I have a paid subscription. The company contacted me via Apple and gave me an email for support, but the email address isn't valid and it keeps getting bounced back at me. My legal assistant and I work remotely a lot. Being able to seamlessly and easily send dictation to her is of critical importance to me as a solo practitioner.To expensive
