  • 2 years of sobriety and I needed this app!

I looked at my alcoholism as a decease that needed a multi-pronged approach to cure and AA meetings were not enough. This app allowed me to have a “sober peer” in my pocket to provide assistance at moments of weakness that my book could not. I use apps throughout my day for work but Sober Peer became more than an app for me. It communicated with me at times when it knew I was vulnerable; how? I have no idea but it reminded me when I got close places that were triggers to me and allowed me to have access to live help when needed. The small groups feature is awesome. Wish I had this app years ago.

  • A great way to get started in recovery

My brother struggled with addiction for 20 years before going into treatment. If Sober Peer was around back then, he may have found the help and support he needed MUCH sooner ... eliminating years of pain and struggle. This is one of the best tools I’ve seen for helping a friend or loved one.
  • Wow!

Finally - an app that helps me understand how to stay sober and gives me the support of an online community of peers and professional counselors!
