Smooth as long as you don’t mind bugs galore!
The app is really smooth and quick, which I love. That said, it’s full of bugs that ruin games and experiences. For instance… if you play a Possession and use your opponent’s own cards to trash one of their Victory Points cards, they don’t actually lose the victory points. Victory Points aren’t counted until the end of the game. If you play against the Medium or Hard AI you get a whole suite of bugs and badly programmed AI. Pretty sure they’ve programmed multiple personas: one that never buys VPs, one that races to buy them quickly (and cheats to do so), and one that is actually playing well BUT if you stop buying Provinces, it will too. You can just stall until you can buy enough of the other VP cards to win. So silly.

From the Possession card text: "any cards of theirs that are trashed are set aside and put in their discard pile at end of turn." so they won't lose VP. If I'm misunderstanding lmk. If you find anything else we'd love to hear about it. A great place to post bugs is the Discord as you can post screenshots and quickly get feedback if it's a bug or a rules interaction.
Not fair
Please add the option for all players to always have an equal number of turns. It’s not fair for the first player to have a huge advantage by taking the last province and immediately ending the game having taken an extra turn. Please add a pool of extra scoring cards that would used during the last turn and give everyone the same number of turns and equal opportunity to win. The first player advantage is too strong right now

Awesome game

Dominion is Great, the app is Okay
Like I said, Dominion is a fantastic game. I think there are some things that the developer could do here to make their app up to Dominion standard. First off, if you have multiple devices things don’t sync well. It would be better if you had a clear account you were logging into, currently you just have to pray that when you put your email on two devices it’ll figure it out. Secondly, the stats page is terrible, there should be a lot of data there to comb through, but there’s just a bunch of numbers without any labels so it means nothing.
Lastly, and I’m sure there’s some setting I’m missing for this, it can be very hard to realize what an opponent is doing and before you know it they’ve given you an entire pile of curses without you being any the wiser. This really bugs me about playing online but I guess it’s something you get used to.

A faithful representation of the game
The AI is challenging and I’m having to rethink strategy with each game. My one irritation is that the AI moves are so quick that it’s hard to follow what they are doing. The AI can sometimes give up when things aren’t going its way.
glitches
I like the game a lot but there are glitches. Sometimes when a card gets you another draw card, or an exchange of a card for a card of more value, it will treat it like a buy. Sometimes when you have a witch, it is supposed to be a draw two, but it won’t draw the two. There isn’t anything you can do once it happens, and it has happened enough times to know it is absolutely happening, but its inconsistent. Frustrating. Won’t stop me from playing though.

If you have screenshots of a log or a scenario, please let us know. What you are describing sounds pretty dramatic, so it's surprising we wouldn't have heard about it by now, and seems more likely a card interaction or something more complicated. A great place to help figure out what's going on is the Discord as there are a lot of experts there that can help out with tricky card interactions.

I’ve played this game a ton, and can say with certainty that the game is rigged. When playing against hard AI, they pick up a single attack card, yet somehow they use it EVERY turn.
Another problem: I’ve used a cellar to exchange a card with another one in my deck. However, I clicked undo because I wanted to exchange 2 cards instead. Guess what? Neither of the two cards I picked up were the one that I got before I hit undo. The game is rigged to make it more challenging, and I don’t like it. I’d rather the hard AI simply be a good player, rather than a cheating one.
Lastly, there’s a glitch where sometimes the game crashes mid game. Doesn’t happen often, but it happened to me 3 times today.

Great game, but flawed.
I love this game and I also have the physical copies of most expansions. If i were only rating the game I would give it 5 stars. There is multiple issues I see with this game. I don’t understand why there should be an option to have turns more than 5 minutes long. This isn’t chess where you can see the whole board and decide your next move. If you were playing multiple games at once, you would have to go through the entire log to try to remember all the cards you bought. Not to mention these long turns promote poor sports to exit the game when they are losing so that other players have to either wait for them to time out or abandon the game. There should definitely be a 5 minute limit per turn that if elapsed your turn ends before you finish. Why would you charge $99 for all the expansions?? I couldn’t even justify buying one expansion for $10. Knock the price way down and maybe I will consider.
I don’t think I have ever played a 3 or more player game without someone forfeiting and ending the game. Either change it so if a player forfeits, they get taken over by a bot or punish forfeiting games so people don’t do it as often

When making custom games there is a tab 'Time' where you can choose between Realitme games (which have the 5min timer) and other time limits, including unlimited. Matchmade games have the 5min timer to keep things snappy for everyone. Having bot takeover in 3p games is on our todo list!
Finally! Digital Dominion that is a pleasure to play
As a long time Dominion player who has tried every digital implementation that has been attempted, this is the one. There are a few individual cards that might still need some work but otherwise it’s pretty great and so far every expansion I’ve bought has been worth it.
Best version yet in-game but poor stats etc and crashes
I have played a few online games. I see no record of my score, no elo-style rating, which should be implemented. There seems to be a history of a few games but it’s not clear. The competition for the app in board games is the brilliant BGA website which has full game history and competitive ranking/rating.
The app crashes quite often - last time for me it was just as the game ended and before the scores were revealed!
It is the best version of dominion given the poor apps of the past, but still, after over ten years you’d have thought they would finally get it completely right instead of half-right.
