Scam

Very limited selection of books. The user interface makes navigating the limited selection of books incredibly hard. When I went to cancel my subscription, the link to cancel does nothing. I clicked on the “contact us” link and it crashes the app. When you try to log in on the web it just takes you back to the app. Not sure if it is on purpose so you can’t cancel or if it was programmed by 8 year olds. Either way stay far far away from this garbage

UPDATE - once again, we apologize for the crash you experienced when clicking the Contact Us link. This was caused by a software version compatibility, which has now been resolved. If you download version 1.8.12 the Contact Us page works as expected. The temporary issue with app store subscription management is also now fixed. Again, sorry that you ran into problems. Your experience does not reflect that of the majority of ckbk users, and the subject line of your review is inaccurate. We offer a service which is trusted by many thousand of home cooks and professional chefs. One useful reminder is that when you subscribe to app such as ckbk via the App Store, you can manage your subscription easily in the same place within the App Store that you manage all your subscriptions. If you contact ckbk customer support we will always address any issues and look into any reports of the app crashing (which is exceptionally rare). Again, we are sorry that there was a temporary issue with the contact us link in the app - now resolved. You can always easily contact ckbk at support@ckbk.com

The best website

I love this website. I found it quite a few years ago when I was looking for old recipes by Robert Carrier. It’s wonderful all the old chefs of my era 70s plus and modern chefs as well. Use all the time.

My Favorite Recipes To-Go

CKBK is the solution to having my favorite cookbooks and go-to recipes at my fingertips. When we’re visiting family in other states and we cook together, I can quickly reference my favorite recipes. I’ve enjoyed leisurely days on vacation exploring the vast collection of cookbooks and preparing new dishes with family and friends. This is a must have app for the novice cook and the seasoned chef!

Looking good!

The future is looking bright for this recipe app that is gradually fillikng up with some of the best cookbooks around.
This is definitely one to keep an eye on if you are a recipe addict!

Waste of money

They advertise and show the cover of premium Cook Books but you have to buy them to see the recipes and dishes - pointless paying for the application if you can’t access the premium recipes unless you pay extra … I found much better applications that are also user friendly - disappointing

Which cookbook are you referring to? ckbk Premium Membership offers full unlimited access to more than 850 cookbooks. All the books which appear in our advertising *are* included in Premium Membership…

I Love CKBK

CKBK is a very convenient way to look at many different cookbooks without having to buy and store physical books. I own literally hundreds of cookbooks and of course I can never find a particular one. CKBK makes it easy to find specific cuisines and/or types of recipe thanks to their categories and search capabilities. I can save or print any recipes that look interesting to me. Plus, they are always adding books, and they post seasonal and other relevant articles. This is one subscription I really use and enjoy!

I love this app

Awesome app it’s affordable, which makes it worth it because it’s affordable. You have access to ton of cookbooks reference books all kinds of cookbooks all cookbooks new cookbooks. The best ones are the technical cookbooks kind of crashes sometimes on my phone anyway.

CKBK is an absolutely outstanding resource. I would not be without it for anything. It is stuffed full of great recipes and new cookery writers. It saves me so much trouble as I can search by ingredient.

This is a cook’s dream app!!!

My son bought me a subscription a few years ago and it was one of the best gifts I’ve ever had. I love to cook a few nights a week but often run out of ideas and need a bit of inspiration or just need a pro tip/ recipe. Love it!!!!!!
