Seriously, this app is show changing (is that a thing?). It’s a fantastic way for us to engage our fans from all over the country while performing live to meet new fans. If you’re a musician, you NEED this app! I was a bit skeptical at first but it is super easy to navigate and has been a Godsend during the past few months. My fans love it just as much as I do as well!!Chedat

I started using mySet during Covid because all of our shows were canceled. I incorporated mySet into a few post and gradually people started using it! It is a neat a way for people to request songs and interact with you!songwriterASD
Valuable and user friendly
MySet is cool because it puts the requests in order of $. This creates bidding wars and makes the band/singer more money. Also, you check off the requests right after you sing it, and if you don’t sing it, then you don’t check it off and the person is not charged- that way they don’t feel cheated.
It works great for live-streams with no live audience but you can also do it WHILE you play for a live audience- this can be really handy if the bar is super crowded and someone doesn’t want to shove their way to the stage.

Payout info needed is absurd!
The app looks like it would be really cool. But it wants all the same bank information that I have to use when I forget my password and have to call my bank. That’s crazy for anyone to do that! It needs PayPal or something for a payout before I continue with it.metdog

Hi Metdog, we use Stripe.com for all of our artist payouts. This is the information they require for tax reporting purposes. All information is transferred directly to Stripe and stored on their secure servers. They exceed industry security standards and are trusted by thousands of businesses of all sizes across the globe including many Fortune 500 companies. No information related to your bank is stored on our servers. Thank you!Great!

I enjoy using this app
I’m using it to request piano covers during the quarantine. The one improvement that I think would be cool is if you could sort the songs by artist. If you’re scrolling down a performer’s list and you see they know a song by your favorite band, you’re curious to see what other songs by that band they know. That would be cool. Also a search bar would be nice. Otherwise it’s a super easy way to get your requests in.Show lessBudgiejen
