With this version of Smart Run we introduce a revised map, some new languages and a range of user interface tweaks. This version also comes with the latest firmware for your DX sensors and brings some changes that make you click less buttons and allow you to run more. And of course we have fixed a number of bugs with this release as well.

Description of Smart Run by Humotion

Smart Run provides accurate running data. The app is particularly suitable for high-precision measurement of sprint times and cadence on running tracks. This does not require a special equipment setup. Smart Run allows you to connect to dedicated tracks, called SmarTracks locations. These tracks have built-in technology that allows you to time your run with high precision via a smartphone. If you use the app in combination with a SmarTracks DX5.0 sensor and a Mobile Gates Set or with a SmarTracks DX5.0 sensor and a SmarTracks location, you can receive the timing results via livestream on your smartphone. Results displayed - Time in seconds and 1/100th of a second - Steps per minute (spm) - Number of steps - Distances - Speed (m/s) Exercise methods - Track Run (for running on SmarTracks locations) - Mobile Gates (for running with mobile gates in combination with DX5.0 sensor) - Trail Run (for all other off-track running) Analysis - Speed development - Steps Smartphone requirements - iOS 11 or newer - iPhone SE (1st generation) or newer versions Equipment requirements The app is designed to be used with a belt holding the smartphone at the lower back. Results from using the app in other positions on the athlete's body will be less accurate. We recommend purchasing a flexible running belt that allows you to wear the smartphone on your lower back. SmarTracks locations have integrated timing gates strategically placed throughout the course for high-resolution timing. SmarTracks locations are built exclusively by our partner SportGroup. You can find all locations with SmarTracks at www.smartracks.run/locations. Some of these tracks are open to the public, others are private or run by universities, sports clubs or municipalities. If in doubt, please check with the track operator.
