“Adding Account Deletion Feature” which is mandated by iOS App Guidelines. Consumers have full control whenever they no longer want their account to be active anymore. Their personal credentials and profiles (email, mobile number, name address etc) will automatically deleted from systems database as well as a consequence of this self account deletion function. CekOri is committed to protect consumer privacy. Don’t hesitate to download, create, register and use your account and credentials as long as you want it. You know you are in control to keep it as long as you use CekOri or you can always delete your account anytime!

- We are aware of some users registration problems due to mistyping their email credentials. This is causing annoyance due to users not able to receive verification email, so users are stuck without being able to re-register with the correct credentials (due to the mobile phone credentials can not be re-used since the newly created account is still pending for 1x24 hours). Now this problem is hopefully fixed with: 1. Confirmation Credentials ensuring mistypes of credentials 2. More detail pop up notification after registration with guidance to enable immediate re-registration with ability to re-use same and correct credentials. - Starting this version each product authentication scanning must start by scanning the GREEN QR first and after Product Information is displayed, users can click Authentication Button to be prompted to scan the RED QR which will show the Authenticity of the Product. Previously users can scan either GREEN or RED QR first (both showing the same Product Information), causing users to think that both QRs are identical and only shows the same Product Information so they stop there without Authenticating the pair of GREEN and RED QRs. Now this ambiguity is fixed.

Description of CekOri

CekOri (from an Indonesian term meaning: “Check if Original”) is an app and ecosystem to help consumers trace the authenticity of a product bearing CekOri QR code. CekOri uses an ingenious 2 Factor Authentication Quasi Blockchain process methodology to determine a product’s authenticity. Traditional authentication methods in the market rely on a proprietary hologram sticker code to prove a product’s authenticity. These systems authenticate the stickers themselves but not necessarily the product’s authenticity itself. An authentic hologram sticker code attached to a tampered product will result in the tampered product being stated as authentic. Not to mention any hologram technology in the market are still prone to counterfeits. CekOri lets you check authenticity of the product before you buy and verify the contents after your purchase. You can even get the key product information when you scan the packaging of your goods at the store so you know exactly what you’re getting. How does CekOri Work? CekOri involves 2 quick steps: 1. Scan the packaging QR code. This will give you the complete product information and attributes coming from the manufacturer and proof that the scanned product is indeed registered in the brand manufacturer database. This is the first proof that this product is identified and registered in by the brand manufacturer. Most traditional authentication methods in the market do this with their proprietary hologram sticker code but it all stops there. Not CekOri! 2. CekOri raises the bar higher by introducing 2 Factor Authentication, in the form of a less visible second QR code (only accessible by the purchaser owning that particular product). Scanning this second QR code after opening the sealed packaging will further validate the product itself was not tampered or exchanged by checking unique pairing with the first QR on point 1 above. This establishes the first log of the product after it has been opened and will guarantee that you are the first person opening this packaging by pairing the two QR codes. Any deviation of this outcome will be shown as a notification to you, including when, where and by whom the first pairing of the particular product took place. In this case, you can report this suspicious variance with one click directly to the brand manufacturer from the CekOri app itself. No fiddling with forms, serial numbers, complain emails or contacting a customer call centers etc. All you have to do is scan the two QR codes and in a few seconds, all 2 scans are uniquely recorded for time, location and who scans it. Privacy and access permissions are used for the sole purpose of authenticity of the particular product. Time and location information are only accessed during QR code scanning process. CekOri never keeps trace of a user’s whereabouts outside of the function of CekOri’s authentication to protect user’s privacy. All authenticity scan pairing results are recorded in each user’s transaction history in the app for ease of access of particular product’s information, attributes as well as warranty period (where applicable). CekOri determines authenticity of a product with a unique end to end process from the product creation/manufacturing (as its origin) up to its sealed packaging (as its end process) before eventually reaching consumers. CekOri uses an ingenious 2 Factor Authentication Quasi Blockchain process method to determine a product’s authenticity. CekOri’s patent pending 2 Factor Authentication Quasi Blockchain method doesn’t rely on the authenticity of sticker codes and instead uses an ingenious process of separation of duties which is invisible to even production manufacturing and packaging staffs of the product manufacturer itself by pairing in real-time 2 distinct QR codes. The method is so unique in using a Quasi Blockchain algorithm in which no single person in the whole ecosystem knows or can predict the correct and unique pairing of each particular item.
