Terrible experience for a free-to-play competitive player

The game is designed around upgrades and special loot that is only available via in game purchases, loot crates, etc. The game’s purpose does not seem to create an enjoyable experience for competitive players, but rather to get players to purchase their frankly ridiculously priced in-game items. I am amongst the top 2-5% of players with Level 10, most of my opponents are level 12-13 with upgraded heroes and items. Mind you, I estimate this would cost on the order of thousands of dollars. This means that my opponents have an overwhelming advantage in fights. But on a pure skill basis, with equal stats, I would be winning close to every match at this level, and be amongst the top players in the world. This would not be much of an issue if I could reasonably acquire levels, coins, heroes, items in due time. But there in-game economy is so artificially scarce and ridiculous, I genuinely think I would die of old age and rot before I would get to level 13 as a free-to-play player. I would more inclined to pay upfront for this game than to go up against people who spend thousands of more dollars on this game and have such an unfair advantage. This is a problem that Nekki creates for their game, and the only solution to that problem is to pay them significant amount of money. Is this a revenue thing? Is Nekki profitable? Is this purely developer greed?

Thanks for your feedback and interest in the game. It is not necessary to make purchases to play comfortably. The game have many bonuses. You can also complete tapjoy missions and get free gems. You can get gems from rewards.

I’ll be quick, is good if you don’t like fighting games

I started playing and tbh i enjoyed the first bit of the game, a couple days in and you see this bunch of toxic people spamming stuff while they are winning, but beyond the toxic community (that believe me, is huge) the game keeps lagging and losing fps while playing, random disconnections that end in losing rank points(doesn’t matter if you were winning or anything you just lose your points if the app crashes). The characters have such thing as balance, movement feels clownsy and most fights are the same character just spamming heavy attack.

My advice, give a try for the story but don’t buy anything in the store, the game is a big Meh

FIX THE CRASHING/CAMPERS ANC COWARDS

I’ve played since SF2 and was really looking forward to this game and I liked it..at first before this game turned into heavy pay to win and people just run away from u all the time..this game is supposed to be a fighting game not a running simulator- this game is like more than 3 years old I think and you guys still haven’t fixed the crashing during the fights? Same thing about not dealing with cowards? You need to at least put in a report option to deal with these people maybe ban them for a while..there is genuinely nothing you can do if you’re matched with someone who immediately backs away as soon as the round starts it makes the game extremely infuriating..also please nerf Yukka and Fireguard they take no skill to play and their damage for combos is outrageous compared to some of the other heroes. FYI it cannot be my internet that crashes me cus in every game I play my ping is always at a sweet 17-28 ping..so definitely not my connection..I’ve seen so many reviews as well complain about the crashing in this game sure some of them probably have bad ping but for those of us who have this issue with great internet is definitely not our end it’s on you

Please try running the game with a stable Wi-Fi connection and check if any icons appear next to the character's health bar, these icons will tell you possible reasons for delays and crashes during the game. The reason for the failures may be a weak wireless connection.

Fun but keeps crashing

I just started playing this game and it’s great! The only problem I have is my game crashes mid fight.

Pay and win

Game in a nutshell
1. PAY to get good character otherwise play for months.
2. Grind for weeks to get a few shards. PAY to get them easily.
3. Always match you with high ranking players so that you don’t win. PAY TO BUY BETTER characters.
4. PAY to unlock stuff.
5. Watch ADS to get minimum rewards. PAY to get better rewards.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE MONEY TO WASTE, DON’t DOWNLOAD THE GAME.
GREEDY DEVELOPERS WANT YOU TO SPEND and keep spending, more than you would spend on a AAA GAME.

You can’t really progress as much without paying for, gems, coins, shards, etc… Would be much better if you didn’t have to pay for most of the good stuff, but rather unlock it instead. Please take action

A very thorough review

After one month of playing this game on a consistent daily basis I have came to my conclusion that this is a three star game at best. With the combat being basic and many matches ending quickly or the use of moves being spammed, as well as the matchmaking system pitting you against higher level opponent. After completing daily tasks and everything there is to do it becomes strikingly repetitive, the events are the same the characters are unbalanced and the combat seems stale. It is a step up from their previous games, and they do award you in game currency from ads(5 shards etc.), coins and free battle pass progression. Aside from the repetitive gameplay the other issue I have with the game is the card based leveling up. This in my opinion is stupid and takes entirely too long or entirely too much money, which in turn makes the game pay to win a feature I adamantly hate. Other than that the game does give some entertainment for a decent time, but does not keep me constantly engaged I find myself bored with the game after one or two fights, and end up looking for something else to occupy my time with.

After fitting the 100 times they dont give the upgrade to the player and even they put their fight with low ranks and stronger ones... i guess they want us to buy the players which is way expensive... scam

The game analyzes your fights and equipment and selects an opponent whose skills and level of combat are similar to yours. Often, the rating indicators may differ from each other when selecting an opponent: players with a high level can often lose and fall on the same level of rating as you. We are constantly adjusting the matchmaking system.

The version is no good 😡

A very bad gamw . while playing it , it freezes a lot and l can't continue playing and start over, and it cost me a lot in terms of level progression and the value of my internet subscription . knowing that I am fan of the early parts of the game , but this version is very bad. please fix the game exit issues during gameplay
