Rose Estes would be proud.
I started playing D&D around 1983 with the revised Basic boxed set and became obsessed. Since getting together with friends wasn’t always the easiest thing to do, I took some joy in the handful of solo adventure modules available but more than anything I loved the “Choose Your Own Adventure” style books by Rose Estes.
Revenge of the Rainbow Dragons, Pillars of Pentegarn, and Return to Brookmere are some of those titles although Mountain of Mirrors was the very best of the lot. I still own these books and despite being an “old person” now, I still pick one up sometimes purely for nostalgia’s sake.
This game has all the quality of writing, playability, and accessibility of those long treasured books from almost 40 years ago. I am enthusiastic supporter, look forward to future installments from the creators, and sincerely hope enough people take an interest to keep this a financially viable endeavor for many more stories/games.Show lesserinslion

This choose your own adventure story allows to adjust the background and writing colour (four different options) but also allows you to adjust size of the font! I cannot stress how nice it is to have a text based game I can comfortably read with out stressing my eyes!
That being said I do wish you had the option of some minor customization options for your main character such as gender and sexual orientation, but it is over all a fairly well written, engaging story of a mage/wizard and his barbarian traveling companion.Show lessRunicFeather
Absolutely amazing
Let me start out by saying this is the first review I’ve ever written.
The general overview is this is kinda like a choose your own adventure book. It is so immersive that I can’t put it down! I’ve played a few chapters and decided it is well worth the money to buy premium. There is a huge library of stories that will provide hours of entertainment. Better than a game
My sister recommended this to me. Been a decade since I did any pleasure reading. I’d forgotten how much fun gamifying a book can be with choose a path stories. This takes those old flip books to an entirely new level by expertly enhancing it with modern capabilities. A well written story, with good character development, humorous narrative, and a tough of anxiety over making the “right” choice. Love it. Simple yet Invigorating
I loved playing through the first chapter. The twists in the story had me excited and sometimes heartbroken and wowed. I cannot to keep playing through the rest of the story. In addition, I LOVE the idea to have a rating for how well you did in a chapter. And the trophies are a nice add on, making you feel like you really made choices that meant something. Wonderful app. Although there are times when you cannot read all the text so you have to make it as small as possible for it all to show on screen. In an update I hope that there may be a scroll option, since having the words so small does cause a bit of strain. A dark mode would be nice. to be honest I’ve always liked choose your own adventure games like telltale and the like but I’ve never played a game that has so much detail and immersion as this especially coming from a MOBILE game I was honestly surprised at how well the characters and dialogue are written how the story unfolds and the awesome and unique choices you get to make and what was even more surprising is how much content there actually is it took me almost a day to finish one chapter (most likely because I’m a slow reader 😂😂) and expected it to be finished another thing I can appreciate is how fair you made the unlocking system you can get them from achievements replaying the chapters or watching vids so it’s not just BUY THIS BUY THIS in your face like other similar games you guys are doing awesome here and I cannot want to see what more you have in store I actually hella excited when I learned it wasn’t just wizards choice have a blessed day y’allShow lessJJJJT564565

Absolutely love this “game”. Really more of an interactive story. The achievements keep you interested in checking out all the alternative responses. I started with Wizard’s Choice and after completion moved on to Rogue’s Choice. Totally addicted and not disappointing in any respect. The only thing that has pulled me away from it is that the content isn’t finished! I hope to see the next chapters in Rogue’s Choice soon. So compelling!Show lessMktphan
Old school D and D meets smart phone
I have been looking for this game for a long time! This is a proper representation of old school dungeon crawling with a hand full of strange dice use your imagination and slay mighty beasts!!! My only complaint is the lack of character choice example be a mage be a fighter and so on ..... but with that said it still gets 5 stars and is well beyond any other I’ve seen in this game style !!!! Thank you show them kids where video games came from!!!!

A great read with challenging scenarios
When I downloaded this app I assumed it was just another choose your path story with easy choices and predictable outcomes, but could provide some RPG-like fun. I was only right about the latter.
This app is full of amazing storyline, interesting and deep characters with life changing choices at every turn. I love high fantasy D&D campaigns and if you do too, you’ll love this app. I keep wanting to call it a book instead of an app due to the amount of content, but even then I would be wrong. It’s an entire collection of books! I would recommend this to anyone who loves great fantasy stories/campaigns and a bit of challenging decision making.Show lessNavybofus

The story is well written and thoroughly enjoyable just don’t get attached to anyone because you never know when something could happen. I highly recommend it and when I have a bit more money I’ll likely put some into it. But it’s not necessary to do so thanks to ads lol. Btw the ads really aren’t that bad either it’s kind of a rare thing to be forced into an ad you can’t skip for 30 seconds. Unless you’re wanting to get coins.Show lessSleepy girl gamer
