Lock opening/closing confirmation
If this feature is switched on by the locking system administrator, when opening or closing locks that require user credentials and NFC reading to be closed, the iLOQ S50 mobile application will ask you to confirm whether you opened or closed the lock.
Support for the new iLOQ Key Fob
You can now receive access right updates to the new iLOQ K55S.2 Key Fob via NFC with the iLOQ S50 mobile application. Note that iLOQ K55S.1 Key Fobs need to be updated with the iLOQ FobApp.

We have added a couple of new features that will enhance your experience and security with iLOQ S50 app:
Activation code improvements. Activation code is now longer and more complex and it will be read automatically from SMS, making locking system activation more seamless and secure.
Phone key location during lock opening. Now when phone key is used to open the lock and the feature is switched on by admin, opening event location is recorded to phone key's single audit trail.

Description of iLOQ S50
With the iLOQ S50 app your smartphone becomes a key. By downloading the S50 app you can use your NFC-enabled phone to open iLOQ S50 locks and readers to which your locking system administrator has given you access rights.
Opening locks is simple and convenient: Just place your phone’s NFC area close to the lock’s reader while the application is open and tap the lock icon on the screen. The reader harvests energy from the phone's NFC field and verifies your access rights for opening the lock.
To use the S50 app as a key your phone number needs to be registered to a locking system by the administrator, after this you’ll receive a key registration message via SMS or email. Your access rights can also be updated at any time by the administrator, contact them for more info.
The S50 app can also be used to update access rights to iLOQ K5 keys and K55S.2 Key Fobs.
