EDIT: I’ve followed the dev’s prompt response below and uninstalled/reinstalled app to restore features. It’s better than before now. I recommend the one time purchase of $1.99 to access more options as I found them handy.

Hello. Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry that you've encountered an issue. This may be because I've significantly redesigned the widget. Please remove the widget and reinstall it. If that doesn't help, the ideal plan would be as follows: 1) uninstall the app 2) remove any widgets if they haven't disappeared on their own 3) restart the device 4) reinstall ClockPhone 5) launch ClockPhone 6) install and configure the transparent widget. Clock now just displays 0000 after 1.8.5 update. Please fix. When working, app is excellent.

I will fix this error soon, and for now, I recommend temporarily enabling animations. AppSettings -> Digits -> Press any digit change animation. If you want, you can use the beta version in which this error, I hope, has been fixed. To do this, please write to me at kostinuum@gmail.com, and I will send you the link to the beta version. I use the app as my alarm clock on my night table. I created an automation to automatically start the clock when the phone is plugged in or (for the last 6 months) when I snap it to my MagSafe charger. Everything worked perfectly until version 1.8.5. For the last two days, when I snap it on the charger, the time display is either a) blank b) 00:00 or c) stuck at the time the app started. Since it stopped working at the same time 1.8.5 came out I assume it’s related. Anyway, I like the app and it was perfect for my use case…just need to figure out the new bug. UPDATE: The author quickly contacted me, acknowledged the bug, and provided a workaround until the bug is fixed. The workaround is easy: I just have to select a digit change animation in the settings. That seems to work fine, and the automation is perfectly acceptable and not overly distracting on the night table.Show lessTeeGeeDub

Intelligently designed clock app, with some useful customisation options in the paid version. This allows me to set the colour to pure red, the typeface narrow, and the brightness very low indeed - all for minimal sleep disruption. Also, I had weird problems with an old phone, and the developer was very responsive.Show lessRusted2

I’ve tried a lot of Clock widgets in the past, but this one I would have to say is one of my favourites quite easy to use and also it has a transparent effect as well so the time looks amazing against a wallpaper. Looking forward to more updates and more things you can do.Les fowler

This app is fabulous. I can't say enough good things about it. The ability to make the widget transparent masks everything about this app greater. I have at least a half dozen discarded clock apps. This one is ALWAYS on top of my widget stack.

I use this on holiday or staying away from home on my iPad to save having to pick up my phone to see what time it is if I wake in the night, it’s big to see from across the room, so I can turn over and go back to sleep, without fully waking up. 😊
