Reviews of Sightreading Coach

  • Love It

I love it. It is so helpful
  • Absolutely Useless

There is no count off so how are students supposed to know when to come in???? How can they keep a steady beat when they’re rushing to make up for coming in late on the downbeat? Why has nothing been done about this in at least a year? This could be an incredible resource but instead it’s garbage because of one, small detail that could easily be fixed. The regular app has its issues but at least it has a count off!
  • A good idea for an app

While the intent behind this app and some of the execution are good, there are too many problems to recommend it. For playing the pieces, there is no count off, so it’s impossible to start with the metronome or track. For recording, there is a count off, but if the piece has an upbeat or upbeats, the time signature is wrong.
