So far so good
I’ve only been using this app for a short time, and so far it’s been great. You can write problems with your finger ( or stylist), type them in or take a picture of a problem (haven’t tested the picture on yet) but the first two work great. I had used Math Papa for many years and that was my go to…until they decided that if you want to see the step by step you have to pay a whopping $10 a month. This app shows how they got the answer for free. It amazes me that everyone acts so concerned about the U.S. being behind in math with the rest of the world, but people don’t want to give you good training for free. Kudos to Microsoft (for once) for free learning…that is, not charging to see the step by step solutions. May change this if anything changes after having used it longer.Show lessPsychman101

Microsoft math has altered my life for the betterment of my education, before Microsoft math I was failing all my classes even English. But now I am a straight A student graduating top of my class. Without Microsoft math I wouldn’t be able to achieve all of this. Doesn’t work on iPhone 6
The reviews say that it’s a life saver and I installed it on my iPhone 6 and when I take a photo or scan it doesn’t show the result and they gave those samples of scanned photos when I click it simply show the results bar but it’s blank and sorry if my English bad it’s BC I’m typing on a broken iPhone anyways pls fix this issue cause this app looks awesome and I really wanna use it :)Show lessAkemi Hibiki

I downloaded a bunch of math apps to help me, I’m almost doing bad on my grade because of math until I found this, it’s free to see the steps to do it and it really works!! You can type, and draw the equation too, but of course you can take a photo of the problem. For my math homework I was supposed to do my math on a separate piece of paper but I was confused, and this REALLY helped! It’s very accurate and correct! This thing has saved me from getting a bad grade so many times. I’ve also saved so much time.
Also if you’re going to use this for help on homework or something don’t just get all the answers and call it a day. Make sure you actually learn the material otherwise you’ll fail your tests (I speak from experience).

Wow just wow (not good)
This app failed me when I needed it the most I just don’t understand how it always has a problem loading whether I’m connected to WiFi or using LTE it always gives me trouble I had 30 seconds left on a test and I needed IT TO LOAD FOR ONE QUESTION and all of sudden it acts so freaking stupid IN THE ONE MOMENT I NEEDED THE APP TO WORK THE MOST it’s the most disrespectful thing a math app could do which is not answer the question for you when you need it to.Show lessfactsperiodtkeepingitreal
Amazing Calculator for Algebra
By far, the best calculator I have ever seen and used. I’ve been looking for one with free steps to help me understand how to solve algebraic questions and I finally found this. Best math solver out there!
This is the best free math solver out there, it doesn’t get better than this. The amount of tools they give you is insane. You can draw your math problem, you can take a picture of it, or you can type it out with their math keyboard. It shows you all the steps of the problems along with the answer. Great app
This app is a nice companion for math lovers and students , it makes me enjoy writing equations on paper or draw them within the app ,to see their step by step solutions , in addition to that seeing the related videos that appear at the bottom , job well done although their are some competitor apps I really enjoyed this appShow lessFadibandak
The Wonders of Microsoft Math
There are several other mathematical apps on the AppStore that seem to help us when it comes to math, but I really enjoy the Microsoft Math app, because learning is NOT stuck behind a paywall. (apps shall not be named!)
Microsoft Math has one of the most friendliest looking layouts for a user to navigate through, and is quite the tutor when it comes to mathematics. It can do Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus with great detail on how to solve the problem, and explain it to the user. One thing that I do have to say though is some of the problems aren’t available yet to be solved, and may be included in a future update, but also I have to comment on how simple the app is. The contents within the app don’t necessarily cover the majority of other math subjects, as it just focuses on a general level of the subjects.
Regardless, I heavily consider you check this app out, as it will most likely benefit any user that attempts to use it!Show lessC_Vox
