Amelia is the best!
Had a fantastic “Bottomless Brunch”. Amelia was very welcoming and was always one step in front of us on ordering. Remembered all our individual drinks! 5* on service, communication & friendliness. She is the “Hostess with the mostess” Definitely a credit to the company
Confused
So what’s the point of ordering at the table to have to go and Get the drinks at the bar .. blooming ridiculous. Also if drink comes as part of the meal you are having actually being able to order the drinks as part of the deal should be standard. Nope no option so go to bar where they seem to have absolutely no bloody idea ! We now have 2 knives and 3 forks for the four of us !

lovely atmosphere but lack of variety
always love coming to Slug and Lettuce for food and the 2-4-1 cocktails but today was a bit of a let down. I understand it’s a busy sunday afternoon towards Christmas but there wasn’t any burgers or any sides available. only had the normal mains available and the salads. Still had a lovely time but thought they’d be a bit more prepared for christmas

Recent birthday dinner visit
Previously we have been to slug and lettuce and had a great time with incredible service from attentive wait staff, we understand the industry is very understaffed just now but we felt that having no table service really brought the class down of the venue as we both work in hospitality and really believe in strong table service making a night out special… rather than having to download an app and make an account before you can even order anything don’t think we will be back until table service is back really makes such a difference!

Great seat in the sun!! That’s about the end of the positives. Ordered wine and food at the same time. Food came out 1st and had to ask about the wine. The wine arrived and we were told the delay was because they were chilling the glasses! They had to chill the glasses cos the wine was warm 😬😬
We asked for water with the wine came and we would still be waiting if we hadn’t gone into the bar to request it.

Takes too long
First you have to log onto a WiFi hosted through Purple, then download the app, then create an account, then the map locator is off, then when you try and scan the card for payment it just sits there not scanning properly - even in good lighting. Took longer to order than it did to get the food
Not kid friendly
State they are kid friendly on the website - but it turns out this is venue dependant. We booked a 5:15pm table to arrive and be told kids get kicked out at 6. We wouldn’t have booked this restaurant if it had told us this. Then it’s difficult to order via the app and loads of things missing from the menu. Our first dinner on holiday became a very unnecessarily stressful experience. Wouldn’t book again.
