The person who greeted us made us feel like a burden & like we didn’t deserve a booking and we where dirt on his shoe . He did not acknowledge our booking & reluctantly took us to a table. After knowing we wanted table service we then waited over half an hour before we even got drinks which we in the mean time had to order on the app regardless. To say this is a new establishment... the service is horrendous! What a disappointment for Newquay as it’s such an amazing location... such a let down on our holiday!!

Sunday Outing
I’ll start with the good bits, one of the parties beer wasn’t very fizzy but he drank it anyway.
Bad bits the table was too Near the door and one of the party was chilly, so much for booking. I spoke to the concierge / doorman but he appeared a little stressed so we chose not to Add to his burden he muttered something sbout ‘kin social distancing. App was impressive and easy to use. Hand sanitizer smelt of lemons which was a plus. Not had the food but the ambience was good and buzzing. We felt safe and welcome the rest was just stuff!

Needs some more work
Terrible app written quickly and full of bugs. The search function only works in the area you are looking. The items are not in the same place as the pub menu ie sharing platters. You have to jump between the app and website when creating an account, which kicked me out 3 times when trying to register. Unable to add any comment to the order, ie no sauce etc.
Hugely frustrating, the customer experience of using this app needs to be revisited.

Annoyed you ask for so much information for a pint!
It is completely ridiculous I have to give you my phone number, email, DOB and name to get a pint!
I have already filled in my details at pub trace which is fine.
My biggest annoyance is wishing 10mins 3 staff members have been over, wont take an order but are happy to stand without masks less than a 1m away from me.
In my opinion you are abusing public trust because of the pandemic to collect data.
I will not use your pubs or apps again!

My birthday
My husband book a table for my birthday we got here to be told out table wasn’t confirmed even tho we had a confirmation email, we was table we could only have the table till 8 and asked it we was ordering food, my response was I can we order food with only having a hour and 10 mins

This place has been decorated in the most beautiful way. The guy who met us and explained the process due to Covid-19 got it down to a t! I’m certainly coming again! Quick service beautiful food! Thank you for our amazing first experience back in reality!!
