Terrible customer service
Customer service is terrible with this company. It takes days-weeks for a response, if you get one at all. For a company claiming to have high technological device, they fall very short is customer service, help and refunds. As well, upon installation the app repeatedly crashed. Both my husband and I have tried our own individual devices and are extremely disappointed. We would not recommend this company.Show lessCACR8
I am not overweight, however…
After just 10 days I would not be without my monitor! I am not overweight, however I did have excess body fat and the Biosense unit shows me exactly where my fat burn is at. In my opinion It is perfect for helping to keep any one who is serious about being healthy and starting a new journey , on track toward their target goals and being able to achieve positive results!!Show lessLeonard 59
App is form over function and buggy programing
It’s a diet app, right? So recording your weight accurately is pretty core to its function. But the programers have chosen cute sliders and rollers to enter data into the program instead of straight forward typing the data. This makes it more time consuming to input the information as the values scroll over and under the target and in some cases refuses incremental integers jumping up or down by a value of 2.
The device itself appears to work well, and is probably approximating my level of ketosis. It’s results are displayed on a daily, weekly and monthly graphs, but if I scroll back and look at the previous week, the last for days of the week’s data is missing.
The device is a motivational benefit to successful dieting, but the poor design and execution of the app doesn’t inspire confidence.Show lessAlto N
Great idea but, not ready
The software and firmware appear to be in beta release. It’s a great concept and I am excited to see the final version. The sensor takes over three minutes to prepare the device (boot). It sometimes gets stuck in an endless loop, and ignores the buttons, needing to wait for the battery to die and hard reset. The phone app does not graph measurements with a zero value. It struggles to connect with Bluetooth while the sensor is operating (hit or miss). The app sometimes skips a week of readings. I have been using daily or three months.Show lessUser W3
No contact , difficulty in adding in weight .
Well it took a very long time to receive this item .
I am having trouble putting in my weight , the way you enter your weight is with a slider bar , but I have never been able to put in my correct weight because the slider bar goes 1 lb over or 1 lb over the number I want to go . So I tried to contact someone and when go to the “contact us” option it just goes to the page where they want you to by the Biosense gadget. There should be a option to put in weight with actual numbers not a slider bar that doesn’t work , and no contact or email to contact for assistance .Show lessoura dissatisfaction
Biosense is a Game-Changer!
This app plus my Biosense monitor are amazing. For years I’ve been pricking my finger, buying pricey strips, buying alcohol wipes, buying lancets, and buying disposal containers to measure ketones and glucose. Goodbye to all that! I could never afford or find time to monitor more than once a day.
Supportive emails and sections of the app explain what ketosis is and what the benefits are. I can use the biosense 3-4 times a day to monitor the effect of food, exercise, etc.
I am losing .5 pound daily and staying in moderate ketosis. This is amazing! BTW I am 70 years old. This will be so beneficial to my health.Show lessCSG Cathy
Garbage
The app is irrelevant if the quality of the device is garbage. I have tested my blood , urine and breath to find that my urine and blood ketone levels have been consistent however the biosense breath test shows little to no ketones at all. I am doing a water only fast, day 14 now so my conditions are correct . biosense customer service makes nothing but illogical excuses why it doesn’t work rather than replacing or fixing the device . By making it so easy to accurately measure your keytones, BioSense removes a layer of complexity from maintaining nutritional ketosis so you can focus on what and when you are eating. Getting feedback on the impact of what you are eating allows you to make the necessary adjustments to customize your diet to achieve your goals. Endless measurements glee
I got tired of the $$$ keto and glucose strips and when you barely eat carbs checking blood sugar starts to become moot. But I like seeing my ketones in real time throughout the day and how I can use my meals and habits to influence them. Simply doesn’t work
Wont pair, won’t allow me to set the time, and won’t allow me to update the firmware. Recently, they also removed their history functionality on the app update (it’s much worse now, which I didn’t think was possible). I wish I could help you stay away from this company, but if you’re already here it’s probably too late.
