It’s a great idea with horrible execution. From software to hardware these drop the ball. If I rated this off of potential it would be much higher but you can’t rate on something that isn’t being delivered. A one word review would be this: Unreliable.I am not a number!

Just bought this wt2 edge/w2
I bought the wt2 edge w2 and the online translations are good I got the offline packages and they don’t translate good. Like not even close…. The app keeps timing out and automatically closing on its own as well. For something that’s 300$ I’m starting to regret buying this.mya778890
Disappointed
I owned a previous model of the WT2 and loved the units. Wanted to upgrade to this new model for more functions, quality, and feature upgrades.
That turned out to be a mistake. Connect is terrible, Bluetooth drops randomly, translation is poor.
These new units are worse than my old reliable units. Would not buy again or recommend to my friendsShow less3bfarms

Incredible. Response time on WiFi is nearly simultaneously to input! Clarity excellent. Mind you, I e only tried the Chinese. But have Hispanic neighbors whom I will try out next! So far exceeds my expectations. This is on my my first few minutes of using the product and I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with this product. I am real. I am NOT being paid to write and post this review. I am very critical about my devices and need them to work as described. WT2 plus exceeds my expectations. Did I say that already? Well, it's worth repeating!!
Your search is over, if you are looking fir a travel translator companion. I've been abroad 12 years using iPhone translating apps. This far exceeds all apps I've used thus far!!!!!

It’s made in China. Expect no customer service. We bought it and it didn’t connect once. Couldn’t get any help from the company. It’s never worked even one time. Paid gobs of money for a paperweight.qjdndhxije

Using with WT2
I am using this at work, and it allows me to talk to clients when someone who speaks Spanish is not available. Usually, I’m working with a new client in a quiet environment, so I use speaker mode. Both of us like that we can read the text to ensure it heard us accurately. I also used it to translate text.
I will occasionally use it to listen to discussions between the client and case manager, but the conversation is usually too fast, though I am able to catch a few details.Show lessTch5
