Location Feature

Thank you for your feedback. The new list should open the item when you tap on the line for the item and it will allow entering counts and submit without leaving the list. The only reason you may want to go out of the list is when you are trying to count a small batch (10-20 items) in the same locations because scanning would be easier as the items may not be in the same order. That would help counting each location and items more quickly. If that is not working for you please submit a support ticket under Help and Support on the menu. Thank you!
Keyboard still doesn’t work

Hi Josh, We fixed that issue in a previous version of the Mobile Inventory App. I suspect that you may have an older version on your device. If you would delete the App and go to the App store and download the new version you should no longer have that issue. Cons:
•App will randomly log you out after awhile, even if you’re in the middle of counting inventory.
•The default keyboard is soooo slow. Typing fast is impossible as it’ll start to miss letters.
•The camera barcode scanner is unreliable. There’s no feedback on why the barcode isn’t scanning. It should default to a number pad to enter the WRIN when scan was unsuccessful.
•The submit inventory button takes up the entirety of the bottom of the screen. Accidentally presses happen to often. Make it smaller or put it at the top of the screen in the header.
•there should be a button for the keypad, similar to the camera button.
•I can’t sort my past counts by time so if I click save but need to add to it, I have to either scan it or search for it all over again.
Pros:
•Being able to add to a count by just pressing the arrow keys saves a lot of time.
•Being able to completely skip entering it into the computer is nice.
•As bad as it is, it is nice being able to scan the barcodes with my camera.
Not many pros, but this app has potential. I hope they give the devs the budget to work on it more.

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Here are a few initial thoughts about the Pro's and Cons you reported. If these do not address the issues you are experiencing we would appreciate you submitting a support ticket so we can address any issues. Cons: The app is not supposed to log you out but there is a timer on counting and submitting of 2 hours before counts are considered old and discarded. Would you be able to give us an example of when and what you are typing to experience slowness so we can test it? Even though the submit button is large you can still add to the count and resubmit. Does that solve the issue? The keyboard is available at any point that you must type in a number or letter. Is there a point when you needed it that the keyboard is not presented? The app is meant to count in small batches so to re-lookup a number should be in a small number of items (10-20). We recommend counting in small batches to stay in real time with the perpetual inventory. Pros: We like that you can enter counts easily Skip the computer to check your counts and Scanning bar codes easily with your phone or Bluetooth scanner. Things to add
2.) Being able to see actual variance numbers rather than simply green/yellow/red would be great. Maybe add a sub page to the normal inventory page.
3.) There should be a horizontal mode on the app, not only vertical.
4.) Work with dcsync to be able to check a stores order via app.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear the keyboard is not working well for you. Would you please submit a support ticket so we can trouble shoot why the App keyboard is slower? I can tell you the red, yellow, and greens are supposed to guide you without showing an actual number as part of the design in Cash and Inventory. Green are 0-5% plus or minus, Yellow are 6-19% plus or minus, and Red is over 20% plus or minus. We have some training available on QsrSoft Academy that may help or we would be happy to help more if you call our number 877-349-3424. We are working on the app having more functionality and will open a request for the horizontal mode. Also we are planning a way to check in the truck via the app that will be coming in 2021.
