Bring Beewi Back

It won’t connect to the multicolor bluetooth bulb is was connected to for years. Useless.

App is Terrible!

Otio home app is complete trash. The Beewi Smartpad app was 100x better. At least that let us control the bulbs we have purchased. Trying to get Otiohome to open on IPhone 14 Pro Max and that still won’t respond. Not let me sign in or create an account.

Once again they changed the old working app for a new one that requires an account! Why?
To get your data. No way!
Back to the previous one that still works. It has a nagging screen but you can bypass it.
That stupid trend of all cloud and all accounts! That means the day they shut down or go out of business you can't use your paid products anymore.

PLZ FIX THIS CR-APP!

OtioHome app has been installed on my iPhone 8, (w/ iOS 14.2) since last Aug (same iOS version this whole time I’ve had the phone).

I have a Bluetooth BeeWi bulb (the former BeeWi app worked perfectly fine btw). I’ve had no problems controlling the bulb since late last summer & well into the fall.

Upon launching the app today, it now just ‘hangs’ on its loading screen (the startup screen w/ the 4 ‘bouncing’ circles).

It seems it doesn’t want to fully launch.

I checked for an app update - but there weren’t any (last one was a yr ago).

App Store states the app is compatible with iOS 9.0 (or newer). Again, NOTHING about my iPhone 8 has changed since last fall, therefore the app should work just as it had 6-8 months ago when I last used it.

It seems obvious the problem here is NOT related to ...

... an iOS incompatibility issue ...

... nor, an outdated version of the app.

I’m SO ANNOYED right now!

I just want to be able to control my bulb.

I don’t want to have to reach out to service and support to do so.

Nor deal w/ an exclusively French site that requires using my browser’s in-app translator in order to understand what I’m reading (the site also doesn’t offer info, nor solutions).

App won’t control BeeWi plug temp

Otiohome replaced BeeWi smart plug app and I can’t control the plug via it’s internal thermometer. Which is a huge disappointment bc they took away the feature from the previous app.

I can see the plug is generating a temp reading but the app won’t control the pug unless I purchase their smart router, which given the level of support this app has I’m not likely to do as I upgrade my house.

Infuriating experience

Awful software, abysmal attempt at upselling, basically deprecated the functionality of beewi light bulb.

Stay away.

Awful App

The old app, BeeWi, worked great at controlling my light. This one requires an account and location information. After all that it still couldn’t connect. Customer service is only in French. Fortunately the bulb is ‘stuck’ on a warm yellow so it can still be useful.

Keeps on disconnecting

This is becoming insane! It disconnects every single time. And I have to redownload the app just to switch it on or off.

Sucks is an understatement

When it was Beewii the app rocked and the bulbs worked , now bulbs won’t connect and can’t be found . They are just expensive regular light bulbs . And why would I have to sign in EVERY TIME . Just to dim bulbs . If you can’t do better I will never ever buy anything Otio branded . I’m the guy people ask for recommendations, get your act together or I’ll make sure no one I know buys anything you make!!!!$
