Notifications doesn’t work
Please fix the notification issue. I never receive notifications. Every time need to visit app and do refresh to check if there is any new post.Abhidk
Its would be a great app if am able to get notifications
The app works like a charm, however my notification will not appear on my phone i change all setting in my phone and on the app. It even has a test to send notification and still i have nothing. I will be dropping my kid out of the day care they use cause I be can not get notifications about my kidDaredtools

The 522 version of the app seems to show the notification bubble on the app icon even when I’ve already viewed new content in the feed.hnkmrtn67
Not good. Not bad.
Biggest complaint … app badge only resets if I close and reopen the app.
UX could be better. For example, pinned messages should have their own space, not stuck at the top of the timeline.
Messages is pretty good. Directory works well.

Doesn’t respect basic safety/security features
Using the limited photo library setting as playground shouldn’t need access to the thousands of photos on my phone just to send a single photo of a missing item to a teacher via the chat.
Each time it insists that it doesn’t have any library access at all and tells me to enable access or reinstall the app.
Reinstallation doesn’t fix it either, it still wants full access to all my photos.
Next step is to report this to Apple - updates that block basic iOS privacy features just shouldn’t be allowed.Show lessSteveSpence
Notifications need a lot of work —-
As an iPhone user with the app, I can’t tell why I have a notification badge and I can’t get them to go away. And for one of my two kids in the app, for the same school, I never get notifications on his account. So I miss messages from his teachers.
Some of the chats for my daughter’s class appear when I’m in my son’s classroom chats.

Decent … but …
Having used several similar apps, this one is fine. My 2 cents … The app experience needs attention. Having to pull down on screens (pull to refresh) for updated info is outdated.
Most annoying though, the app badge won’t reset u less the app is closed and reopened.

We are a large center that needed an upgrade. Playground was easy to use and train staff on use. Customer service has been spectacular.jfhoosier
It’s so-so
There are many apps out there that do this same thing so it’s not the BEST. I appreciate being able to chat with teachers easily and parents. That’s the only gain I’ve had with it. But coming from another app to this one for our school, it has a lot more gaps than gains.
When multiple kids, the switch process is not efficient. Don’t even see which kid you’re switching to/from. It should list child’s name.
When you get a notification badge on the app, there is NO visibility to what is new information in the app. And with more than one kid, the frustration compounds.
When there are attached documents in the feed for a kid, like lesson plans, you can’t zoom in to read them. You have to download everything to your phone to then see what you need to see.
Work through these topics and you’d have a very worthy app.Show lessBuggy sign in/out
Please fix the delay between scanning a QR code to sign in/out and being able to sign and complete the process. It kills me every time at pick up.ShaneJac
