Amazing

Very useful app, especially for university students in engineering or science. I definitely recommend!

Dealing with multiple file

File explorer missing, could not compile my doc with multiple cls and tex files as chapters!

I like it so far…free is good!

Q4 2022 - opened app and redeemed a gift of a Pro membership

In ~2009, I learned there was such a thing as LaTeX. I love math and research and saw the value immediately. I now teach computer science to secondary students and plan to introduce LaTeX as one of a few excellent markup languages.

Thank you to the app for a free version of the Pro features. I’m excited to use the app!!

Doesn’t work on new iPad pro with iPad OS 16 installed

See the title,
the app behaves erratically, a disappointment. I’ll wait until the developer catches up with the OS.

Awful

Can’t import separate latex library’s. That’s the entire point for customization. If I could give less I would.

super slow, reverts my edits?!

I type something, press the play button, then the eye button. Nothing is updated. And then my source file changes disappear. Also very slow..

Lag

There’s amazing lag in typing. This is literally unusable for me.

Little bit buggy but is pretty useable for now

I was looking for a good LaTeX compiling app for my ipad to edit documents on the go or when i do not have my laptop available to me.

My LaTeX knowledge isn't the best therefore this app makes it easy to test out things i learn online. However, i have noticed the app can be slightly buggy at times. When i close a piece of code i'm working on and reopen it, the app lags and does not open the file. Instead i have to close the app and reopen it to access the files. Which can be very annoying, especially if working on multiple files at once.

Another issue i noticed is the inconsistency for new changes made to the code to save. I believe a dedicated save button would make this much easier.

Future advances the app could make are having a prediction system that suggests what functions or references i am typing as this would make it much easier and quicker to code. It would also reduce the chances of any errors.

Overall, i would say the idea is amazing the UI is quite friendly however the app needs to iron out bugs and add new features to make it a more premium experience. But for now it is a nice compliment to a LaTeX complier on PC for on the go use.
