  • Cloud save doesn’t work

(THIS ISN'T ACTUALLY A 1 STAR REVIEW I JUST WANT DEVS TO SEE)

The game is excellent, great story telling and amazing tactical missions that can get hard at times. I recommend playing the easiest mode if your new to the This is the Police series.

Anyway, I have two devices each signed in to the same Game Center account and when I try to upload the save an error message pops up and it deletes my save. I’ve had a few saves that have been deleted by this bug however that doesn’t concern me as I’ve already beat the game. The save deletion doesn’t concern me as much as not being able to upload my save. I’d like to be able to play between to devices on the same save.

    Great game otherwise.

  • We need more

I love tha game tha whole trilogy actually I just wish it was more of a story you know I know y’all got more I’ll be looking for a update or a part 2 it’s needed
  • Simple, decent, some thoughts

The game is fun and scratches that tactical gameplay itch, but a couple small annoying things worth mentioning.

No volume slider specific to character voices. You can’t mute the quips/shouts without also muting all other in-game sound effects.

Minimized game on the “mission complete” screen. Was frozen when I reopened it and needed to be force-closed. Upon relaunching, it reset me back to an autosave in the middle of the level.

  • Crazy underrated

This game engrossed me for days and left me a bit melancholy when I completed it. It’s smooth, interesting, and has a lot of depth to it. Definitely worth the price
  • Masterpiece - THQ Nordic does it again!

I have been a big fan of the This is the Police series, and this third installment is the best yet. The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are well made, and the soundtrack is impressive. If you are looking for a console-quality turn based strategy game on mobile, then here you have it. The game is refreshingly difficult and the story is well written in a way that immerses you and captures the depressed spirit of the town Ripton. I love quality offline mobile games that I can play on a long plane ride or train, and Rebel cops is hands down, the best out there. If you are a fan of this game, I also recommend This is the Police 2.

  • Two cops can’t get all 10 Perks

Both Glen Livet and Lionel Boone can only be able to get 9/10 perks. I am unsure if that’s a glitch or unintentional. But I hope that gets addressed.
  • Proper TB action

If you’re looking for a Jagged Alliance gameplay, go with this one instead of TITP2 because second has a way more of a manager approach, every fifth or less mission has 3D turn based fight while all others are just management of time and resources etc...
  • Great squad turn based game

Really well balanced through managing your equipment with money raised thru missions and the number of objectives to complete per mission. Missions are awesome, large maps that give you a host of options on how to approach the objectives. Sometimes multiple objectives per mission, but it’s all up to you to accept all the available objectives before the start of each mission. So much is left up to you to decide how to accomplish the missions. Stealth is preferred, but you do have the option of going hot and getting into shootouts. Great work devs.

  • Amazing

This game was sick. The last couple missions, especially the final one, were epic! The graphics are very nice. I love the detail of the levels. And simple things like the ticking clock as someone bleeds out on the ground over the course of several turns, creating stories within the environment. Very underrated game

  • Nice job

I normally don’t write reviews, but I decided a $7 price tag for an iOS game deserved a review. Love the concept, love the mechanics, and I would totally play this on my PC. The strategy required and the in-depth mechanics and systems are just above and beyond. Not to mention the graphics and sounds, very nice touches too. My only two complaints: the inability to rotate the camera. I love the top down style, but not being able to rotate the camera to get better angles KILLS me. It makes it very hard in some places (like the photo store level) to position your officers correctly because you can’t see where stuff is. It’s not that big of a deal, but my biggest upset with this game. And I understand it’s a key mechanic, but the “tiredness” of officers is annoying. If you stack 6 officers per level, you’re always going to have two non rested officers, which is annoying. But other than those two things, I love this game. Great job devs, keep it up
