Moved into a new place and the previous owner left a bunch of plants. I had no clue what they were or how to take care of them, so I tried out Plantyx.
The app's pretty easy to use. Scanned my first plant in under a minute with the 3-day free trial. I like that it doesn't just guess the plant; it gives you a few options to choose from, which is nice for accuracy.
That said, it'd be great if the app could improve the accuracy of its plant recognition. Sometimes it still feels like a guessing game. With all the plants in my apartment, I end up using Plantyx almost every day. If you’re into plants, it’s worth checking out, but there’s definitely room for improvement.Show lessMoses Oran

I am not sure who they are paying for their 5 star reviews. There is no way to get a hold of customer service other than to email them. They do not return emails. There is no real diagnosis for anything for new plant owners. Also does not have plant variants and also cannot identify 85% of my plants that I have. Don’t waste your time and money. ** update to say they responded to my review giving me the email address that I emailed three times with no response to!*** don’t buy this app or fall for their “free trial” as it doesn’t exist!!Show lessGracielouwho21

Tried this app for all of about five minutes. When I downloaded it, it showed taking pictures of plants that were having issues and it giving the advice of what to do. I took a picture and all it wanted to do was tell me what kind of plant it wasand then I had a conversation with a non-human that gave me no opportunity to get help. It's possible to find out what's wrong with your plant using Plantyx app. You just need to use a different feature for this. Please tab the Diagnose tab, then identify a disease, and you'll get information about the issue your plant has and how to cure it. I live in south Louisiana, and even though I input the pot size, regular temperature, etc. it gives very inaccurate watering suggestions. I have to water my plants daily to prevent wilting, meanwhile this suggested I water nearly all of them once a week. I wanted a refund for my yearly subscription, to which I found no customer support at all. Only an A.I. that basically told me “sorry about your luck, good luck with your plants.” There is no advantage I’ve found to using this app at all.Show lessNoble Will Simpson

This company doesn’t respond to emails, even though I urgently needed to contact them with reference to my subscription for the app. Impossible to find out who the company is that designed and operate the app and impossible to find a phone number. Last night I bought this app. The lifetime subscription made the most sense at $70. I was excited to add my garden this morning! I have used other apps and was specifically looking for a diagnostic tool if a plant is unwell. This app only names some possible problems and no solutions. Even adding your garden is inaccurate. The pictures are from other peoples homes (as opposed to professional) and it has gotten at least three wrong on identification this morning!
