First off the app isn't exactly free. Yes, free to download but not free to do anything else. I still went with it hoping it would be useful. It can tell you what a plant is - generically - but as for watering and diagnoses of damage, it is complete junk. Everything including CACTUS says water every 3-4 days. 🙄 And as someone else mentioned, everything diagnosis is either not enough or too much water. Don't go with this one. NOT FREE! I’m not paying for what I don’t know
There is absolutely no access to the app unless you pay or do a 3 day free TRIAL. I don’t want to buy or get a trial for an app I do not know about. Man, if only people can create without trying to force a profit out of it :) I know you guys have AI to help with the status of the plant but… AI is everywhere now and not special. I saw a comment where the AI was incorrect also. Thankfully I don’t buy into these apps. If you’re reading this to get the “free” app, don’t get it. You can look up the problems with your plants on google for free, and there’s probably an app that’s actually free that will allow you to take care of your plants. Thanks but no thanksShow less1val1
Rip off
This app offers nothing of value. Every plant I ask advice on it says it’s either “over watered or under watered, too much or not enough light” - so incredibly helpful…
I tried messaging through the AI feature and it makes zero sense. It was also telling me to upload a photo to them but then tells me it cannot accept photos on AI. I said their replies were confusing, and the AI apologized because it “works with several platforms” and gets mixed up.
Overall, but waste of $60. I messaged customer service twice and so far no reply.Show lessksan1111

The app itself is said to be “free”. Not true. As soon as you open the app it will NOT allow you to explore the app or even witness its homepage without asking you to choose a “payment plan” first. After you have chosen a payment plan, it’ll ask you to take a picture of the first plant you’d like to identify and not always be right when identifying. The (app) AI is not advanced enough to identify a simple bamboo plant or many other common plants. It is not worth the investment. Also false advertising is NOT nice. Plantyx- stop scamming people.

I paid for an annual subscription to this app because I have a couple of plants that are struggling. I used the app to take a picture of one of the struggling plants, and also a healthy plant I'll fix Zack same species (in fact the struggling plant came from the healthy one) and the app diagnosed both of them with the same problem. Even though the healthy plant is going crazy with growth.

Totally disappointed with this app
I wish I could get my money back. So far almost every plant that I’ve taken a picture of to identify it comes up with something completely different. I started taking pictures of my common plants that I knew what they were and this is a waste of time and money. Diagnosing problems is a laugh. You can find out more by just using Google. Scam App!! Can’t identify your plants!! Fake reviews!!
A scam app that I wasted $7 on!!! Paid for the “weekly payment” option and the stupid app couldn’t identify ANY of my plants!! Scanned 3 of my 11 plants and the app couldn’t identify the first 3. Huge waste of money!! Downloaded and paid for Planta instead. I want my $7 back. There also isn’t an option for a free trial. App won’t let you do anything before you pay.
