So MISLEADING DO NOT “TRY OUT”
The way this app goes about getting installed is so dubious, their canned responses to bad reviews are a joke. As best as I can recall cuz it happened so fast, basically the screen prompts you to test out the app on a pic YOU ARE BUYING THE SUBSCRIPTION ... at least that’s what happened on my phone (and several others from what I see here in the reviews) & clearly I have no intention on forking over $89 to cartoon pics. I have no problem with developers charging footer their apps cuz that makes sense BUT DO IT IN AN ETHICAL & TRANSPARENT MATTER.
Don’t bother contacting developer, you need to go through Apple support to get your refund... really hope no more unsuspecting users end up paying for something they did not intend on.

Hello, our subscription is through the App Store and the subscription feature is not a program feature of Quick Art. All of our subscription deductions and refunds are entrusted to Apple Customer Service, and Quick Art cannot process any refunds. When you request refund from Apple Customer Service, Apple Customer Service will review your request based on your previous subscription and decide whether to refund you. I am updating my review but I will keep the rating of 1 star. It is pretty clear after seeing multiple reviews similar to the issues I have indicated in my review regarding how this particular app is extremely misleading. It shows up as a free app initially but doing the process of downloading the app it doesn’t prompt anything regarding an annual fee until it automatically charges your iTunes account. There is absolutely no way would I have purchased an app for $89. Fortunately, after pursuing a complaint I was reimbursed the $89. However, it is clear that the developer and/or apple is unaware of how acquiring this app is very misleading on the $89 annual fee. Reading multiple reviews from several customers it appears there is a problem and the developer is not acknowledging or accepting that there is a problem based on the response I received as well as the response other customers have received. Hello, you were debited because you have previously selected our free trial subscription plan, this has detailed instructions when you subscribed. If you don't want to subscribe, you need to cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account during the free trial period, otherwise the system will renew your subscription. These have to be fake reviews because everyone is saying how great this app is and that it’s free but it’s a lie. You can’t do anything without subscribing to the app for $89 a year. It had a pop up that asked me to subscribe and before I could take my thumb off the button it charged me $89!!! Really? $89 dollars just to make pictures look like cartoons?? Who would pay that much for this??
Response to the developer: what you are saying is completely false. As soon as I opened your so called free app it wouldn’t allow me to do ANYTHING until I subscribed. There was no price listed for the subscription and it just asked me to put my thumb on my print reader to subscribe. I just happened to notice that as it was scanning my thumb Apple had a message that said I was subscribing for $89 per year which is ridiculous for what you are offering. Your app is clearly set up to trick people into paying for a subscription with the hopes that they don’t notice the price or they don’t take the time to figure out how to dispute it. If not then tell me one feature that you can do before subscribing. I notice how deceitfully you worded your reply as to not say what features you get before or after your subscription. You are different!
i personally LOVE This app. It’s not like the rest of the cartoon filter apps. This app actually gives you a chance to see the actual app. For example, other apps Litteraly SLAM let’s say a 100$ fee per year with only a 3 day trial and it’s very hard to cancel. You are by far the best App of the filter/cartoon category I’ve seen so far. My only recommendation is to lower the yearly fee. Other then that, keep up the good work!👍Show lessRay-Inez

Ad is deceiving and the cartoon drawing shown in the ad is nothing like what it really is and is just a over saturated version of the photo.Noahthedog11
