Great game, needlessly harsh rules
Just wanted to submit some feedback. I have played this game for many years. I previously had a 1,000+ Daily Search streak that was ruined because I was unable to log in one single day while traveling internationally. Your other game, KnotWords, allows you to at least regain your streak if you log in for the next seven days continuously. Couldn’t you introduce that here?
Now I just lost a 411-day four-star streak because my finger slipped in the middle of a word and it completed a one-star word instead of the three-star word I was making.
You introduced the opportunity to have three tries on the daily search per day. That’s fantastic. But then you ruin my four-star streak because of a simple finger slip, and when I use my second try of three to make the three-star word I had originally planned, I now have a one-day four-star streak. Why am I unable to maintain my four-star streak as long as I make one four-star word everyday, regardless of whether it’s the first of three or last of three? That would allow it so people aren’t punished and lose streaks they work hard for because a simple finger slip.
I’ve played this game for so long but the game loses a lot of its appeal for these unfair and needlessly harsh rules. Any chance you could implement slightly more forgiving rules as I’ve suggested here?

Disappointed
I paid for this to get the zen mode hopeful that I could continue building words but you still get knocked out when you get to the top even though the instructions say no more pesky running out of room or something like that. That is not zen mode. Zen mode means you can play until you don’t want to anymore.

Love it but wish I hadn’t paid
I’ve had the free version of this game for several years and I’ve loved it. The puzzle game is my favorite because I can find words at my own pace and I can keep it going for a really long time and it’s still challenging but not too challenging. I’ve even had a puzzle round going for a couple years when I would just play occasionally. For some reason a few days ago I got impatient with the ads and just caved and bought the game, but it immediately got way harder with the 5 and 6 letter rules. It’s frustrating when I’m finding good words but they still don’t work because they’re not 6 letters. I wish I could go back to the unpaid version just so it could be a little easier. Or if there was a way to make there be different levels of difficulty that I could choose from that would make the game perfect!

Bottom edge fail in iPad
Bottom edge is too close to iPad icon deck line. Always drag up the line just like old Spell Tower.
Layout is not as good as old SpellTower.

Still No way to turn off haptics
Wow. Came to provide this review and realised I’ve already written it before. Zero resolution for something that should be so simple.
This is the perfect game to play in bed when I can’t sleep except there is no way to turn off vibrations, which makes it too annoying to play.

Good game but stop the censorship
Great game and borderline addictive. I don’t have gripes with how hard it can get - other reviewers need to broaden their vocabulary and learn new words!
My main complaint is that it won’t register certain “triggering” words. Racial slurs and bad language I can totally understand. However, I think “noose” is a perfectly acceptable 5 letter word to use however the game won’t allow it. We’re all grownups here. If I can spell and recognize what the word is, give me the points for finding it.

too many ads
way too many ads. used to play this when it had none, and i’m highly disappointed. this game is ruined for me.
Ads in the middle of a game
It’s a nice little game but far too many ads. I don’t mind watching ads at the beginning of a game, that’s the price you have to pay for a free game. When the game gets interrupted every few minutes for an ad, it’s not worth it.
Annoying
Waaay too many ads throughout each game & the ads are terrible
Strange suspicion
I enjoy the game quite a bit. Enough so that I paid for an app to avoid ads. I do NOT buy apps but I made an exception. The game boards are supposedly random, but I have noticed many letter patterns that repeat over and over again. For instance, the combination “S-N-I-S” appears in succession about every 3-4 games. The N is always diagonal from the first S and the NIS is always in order without being diagonal. I’m not sure how this mathematically even makes sense as a possibility if the games truly are random.
