  • Perfect Game for Waiting Rooms

This game is simple and fun! Great for passing 10 minutes of time and keeping the brain occupied. My only feedback is when your dragging to select a word sometimes it doesn’t get the longer combo that you were going for. I’m not a fan of when you find bigger words that you lose letters. It should be the other way around! You should get letters back and be rewarded when you hit bigger combos.

  • Okay but some issues

The game is pretty fun & the concept is cool, but there are issues. The first being you can't repeat a word you've used before. I'd understand that if there was a time limit or something, but for what could be an endless game (puzzle mode), it's ridiculous. My second big grievance is the amount of 5-6 letter tiles you get. On my current board, just under half the tiles all require 5-6 letters. & there just aren't any possible words that long to be made with any of them. It's absurd. Also the vowel to consonant ratio is way out of whack. Not nearly enough vowels.

  • Has potential but glaring problems

This game would be fun if it didn’t have an absolute deluge of ads. Within 10 minutes of play through there were 8 ads. Nearly one a minute. I would pay for the game, but the algorithm that generates the letters doesn’t work and I often have to go through 3 rows to be able to create a word (and I have a rather large vocabulary, I have two bachelors degrees one in writing) so this game needs a lot of work and way less ads.

  • Fun BUT

I enjoy playing this game but get REALLY irritated when the app decides that I’ve finished rather than me making that decision. Perfect example just happened: I had just started playing the Daily Search and found 3 words when the app declared the game was finished and shut it down. Then it asks if I want to play it again. No, I don’t want to play it again. I want to finish the game I started.

This happens frequently and I’m almost ready to delete it.

  • Small usability suggestion

First off, I love it. Tower mode is fantastic. My suggestion: in night mode the doubling letters are difficult to see (white on yellow?), particularly when the screen is dim. Maybe increase the contrast by making those letters black, or using a darker background color?
  • Addicted to this game!

I spend an embarrassing number of hours playing the Puzzle version of SpellTower. I love it because the game can go on for days, depending on your own skill and vocabulary. I also play the Daily games for the challenge.
  • Love this game!

Worth the trip purchase. It’s relaxing, challenging and unique.

This is a nerdy request, but I wish there was a database list of the words you’ve played. E.g. Can (117) Graphical (5) Zen (44). The reason being, you’d look back and think “how did I find that word?” or I lean on simple words too much.

    Great game!

  • Love this. Worth the ad free version

Challenging, fun, and can be mind numbing when you need it.
I will play this when I need to calm my thoughts. It makes me focus and then I can continue on my way. All the levels are challenging but fun and not stupid hard that makes your brain hurt.
  • Bad dictionary

Addictive and fun if you like word games but the dictionary used is very limited. Nothing like coming up with great word, orchestrating the board to spell it out and then the program doesn’t recognize it (even when using the challenge button, which doesn’t seem to do anything). Oximeters is a word, per multiple dictionaries, which unfortunately most of us know after 2020...

  • This game is very fun and addicting

I think this game is great since i can strategize and think about my next move. I think it’d be cool if there were an option to switch out one letter and change it to something else to make a word. It’d also be nice if when you click on the words you’ve found, a definition would pop up. Other than that, this game is very addicting.
