Waaaaaay too many ads
and ads are waaaay too long. And by the waaaay LAN is a word.
Somewhat Frustrating
I don’t know what happened. I tried this game free with ads to make sure I enjoyed it. I was able to play puzzle mode for ages and build up a high score. It was enjoyable using enough words to where I had to start getting creative because I had already used so many words in the puzzle. Because I was enjoying this app I got the ad-free version. Since then it’s been very difficult. The scores I get now are one third of what my score was originally. I almost never run into repeating words in a puzzle. They throw in so many blank, “5”, and “6” letter tiles that it is impossible to play the puzzle for very long.

Way too many ads. I would have bought the app, but the obnoxious and overlong ads dissuaded me from doing so.

Inappropriate adverts for age rating
Whilst this game is enjoyable and suitable for my daughter to play as well, I have had to stop her playing it due to the inappropriate nature of some of the adverts…the one with the maid specifically. This needs to be removed if the game age is set at 4+!
Best word game ever
I’ve been playing this game for about three years now and love how relax full and challenging the zen mode is. I own the paid version and find that it accepts words that are in the dictionary. And if you feel a word should be counted, you can challenge it in the game.

I play this in ZEN mode, with no time limit. The only limit is your ability to spell words. I've been playing this game for five years now, and its the only game I have on my phone. It's great because you can pick up where you left off at any point.
Highly replayable, and very enjoyable if you love words.

No Support
Syncing stopped working after a few days but the developer won't respond to emails seeking help.
So sad
I am devastated that my favourite game has changed so much. I have had this app for so many years, and it was excellent. It crashed two days ago, and I have had to reinstall, only to find that the game I once knew and loved is plagued with ads, and subpar graphics. I am so sad.
Spell… Tower
A great word game BUT two big niggles!
1. The dictionary needs an update or some revision - deathlier (for example) is valid in any dictionary.
2. A take-back or undo last move would be good. Even if it’s just once per game?! One finger-slip (easy to do) or jolt and a word you’re trying is played and ruins the board.
