Dr. Timothy Lau opened the original location at the old Kalihi Shopping Center in 1962. Upon Dr. Lau's retirement in 2013, Dr. Obara became the primary care doctor and took over the practice. Along with Dr. Lau's staff of Vet Techs, Vet Assistants, and Office Manager, Dr. Obara continues the legacy that began over five decades ago. The healthcare facility is a progressive, family-oriented clinic giving the best, newest quality car for all pets. The walk-in clinic offers medical, dental, imaging, diagnostic, and hospital care services. Kalihi Pet Clinic has been featured in The Pet Hui, Hawaii 5-0, and Midweek.
App seems like a great idea but at this point implementation is poor; I deleted it after one use. To make an appointment you pick a time range and day that you want to come. You have no idea whether that time/day is even available. Then you wait for a few hours for someone to answer you back and say that there are no available appointments until several days after that. There is no way to cancel your appointment request. When you push the delete icon, you are told to call the clinic, but you have to call during business hours because there is no way to leave a message.
