Disappointed
I like the app. Useful and reasonably simple to use.
Disappointed that I am able only to listen to a machine generated voice read definitions to me.
I want text. I can read. Myself.

Completely useless
You can type in any word you want, but it won’t do anything. Apparently the etymology of all our words is just a blank screen.
It does not seem to have a definition, let alone the etymology of any words.
Pretty useless unless you want to search a word, not get a definition and then get and ad. Don’t waste you’re time
Deleted
Worked well, but the intrusive advertising was too annoying and it was deleted after the first five minutes of use
Too many ads
So many ads... each time you search for a word you get a pop up add and have to wait. They don’t even give very good definitions or history. Vague at best and frustrating.
Doesn’t work
Period.
From a good basic app to basically crap
This use to be a quirky app that did what it did well, Etymology.
I don’t know if the rights has been sold on or it’s has just been redesigned, but what they have done is to make it an ad app. Totally useless. Now it doesn’t give the etymology of a word, you are just faced with either an ads or a blank screen.
Looks like I have to develop my own.
