A bit too much pay-to-win
Pretty fun game, but it is nearly impossible to win unless you have an IAP boat with upgrades. I suppose, given enough time, you might be able to level up enough and earn enough in-game currency to purchase something to level the playing field. However, the season is only about 60 days, and I do not think the average player will be able to afford the upgrades in that time period without coughing up some real money. I am all for supporting developers, but I don’t think winning should be an outcome of that support. Maybe customizing your sailer, boat, etc., but not winning.Show lessKapazza

Thank you so much for your feedback Kapazza, we are constantly tweaking the game to make it as fair as possible, and we'll keep on doing it with your insights. Proof of this, is the fact that users can only buy one pass per season, avoiding the pay-to-win regular model of endless micro-transactions. Seasons will last 90 days starting this fall, matching real ones; this one is exceptionally short due to its timing. Note that you can earn in-game currency fishing, sailing, claiming your daily parcel, or finding the island; everything is (or should be) balanced so you can compete against Paddle Pass users, but we are happy to discuss and improve with your feedback if you reach us at 1sland@nada.studio :)
