Description of Toktiv

Toktiv is a companion app for your Twilio account to make and receive calls, send, and receive SMS. Toktiv offers a free trial period so you can evaluate our product for 30 days. However, charges might be applicable as per the billing plan on your associated Twilio account. The 30 days free trial includes a fully functional product for up to 3 users. Our paid plan starts with just $2 per month for each user, which includes the calls feature. You can include SMS and conference features for $1 each based on your requirement. No hassles of remembering the password and the username as you can choose your Apple or Google or Microsoft accounts to sign in. An administrator can add unlimited users to the Toktiv account on a paid subscription. You will be able to manage the Board Number of Toktiv, and up to 4 digits extension number for each of your users by assigning a direct number. In addition to that, one can enable or disable users as well through the Toktiv app. You can also set up a URL for Call Disposition and choose which Call Parameters need to be passed on to that URL. This will enable your users to add Call Dispositions to any external CRM or Customer Service systems that you may use. Making and receiving calls and sending and receiving SMS services on Toktiv are subject to the permissions granted by the administrator of your organization’s Twilio account. You can also quickly view your device contacts from within the Toktiv app, to make quick calls to your contacts. If your administrator has enabled call recording on Twilio, then you will also be able to listen to your call recordings from the Call History. Call Disposition can also be made from the Call History if it has been enabled by your administrator on the Toktiv app. Please note that the call quality will depend on the internet speed on your device.

  • Very unreliable

    The app is clearly not made for iOS, slow, unable to respond 90% of the calls, no significant upgrade in a year, sms and call logs are disappearing randomly.
    Not worth to try, don’t lose your time, search further.
    I’m leaving as soon as I find an alternative.
  • Still having notifications problems

    It’s been years , I’m done with this. Badge notifications have never worked correctly. Even now when it’s finally implemented it doesn’t work correctly. It only shows a badge after I already open the app. That’s useless. Every other app developer can do this correctly.

  • Works fine

    I’ve been using for several months with no problems. Used it in Italy to talk to NA. New version (June 2022) crashes constantly every time I tap on a contact. Have put in numbers manually.
