Tried to upgrade to standard from within the app on my iPad. The app crashed instantly. Not a good sign...
Next, I tried to send a file. But first, I have to upload a file. Would be easier if I just chose the files I want to send, and you send them. I shouldn’t havre to upload anything. But okay, let’s try that. I upload one file. Then decide to upload another. Only the meter showing the upload progress, dies and I presume the upload doesn’t exist. Tried again, and the same thing happens.
So, can’t upgrade, can’t choose to upload a second file.
If you’re going to make a mobile app, here’s a tip. On the iPad Pro, we have drag-n-drop. Your app doesn’t support this. The method of sending, is too much. I can do less work sharing a file directly from file share on my iPad’s built in function.
The shell app for for iOS. It’s overly minimal. Essentially a vehicle between me, the file, and your site. You’re not adding any value here that I can think of.
Why do I limit on how many times I can send per month?
Apple’s own file system offers file share, and it is easier. I can make a link of a file and anyone can download it. And I don’t have to upload it to anything.
DropBox. Hit share on a file, copy link, and then email the link. Not idea, but still easier than your app. And it works.
FileMail. Most closely like you app, except it works. No limit on file sends. Better interface.
You’re not adding value to the iOS experience. Luckily I couldn’t subscribe if I tried. I’d be canceling if it were indeed successful after this. Not even sure how you got past Apple’s quality screening. I can’t even subscribe without the app blowing up.
