  • Simple and fun, but maybe a little *too* simple.

The core gameplay is fun, and that’s the most important part of any game. However, I’m curious as to whether it was intended to be as frantic and stressful as it gets when you have to manage everything at once. I also don’t quite understand how roads are placed. As far as I can tell, a soldier will place a road if they move to a clear tile after they’ve been spawned, but they won’t place it if you move them back onto the castle and move elsewhere.

Some consistency to make winning battles consist of more than just upgrades and prayer would also make things a little more satisfying. No crazy detailed stuff, of course, but at the very least a little transparency on what is going on in a battle; what each side’s chances are and why things are happening. I want to know what the odds were for my one soldier to beat three others.

But again, very fun at its core, wouldn’t change fundamentally how the game plays. Looking forward to your future work.

  • Good game but not worth the paywall

If they made it $1.00 or maybe even $1.99 that’s be fine. It’s an enjoyable game but it’s not something you need to sink hours into.
  • This game is AWESOME!

Basic graphics and sound which means it loads quickly and you can play straight away. It’s not complicated... I love it. I hope more maps will be released, but even if not, it’s still fun to replay the existing ones. No bugs or glitches so far either...
  • Love this game!

This game is really fun and I would definitely recommend it! The only problem I have with it is that the tutorial is slightly hard to follow but it still gets the point across. I would also love to thank the developer for not taking the scummy route and making some lame ad game with the classic “I cAnT bEaT lEvEl FiVe!” ridiculousness. The world needs more developers making actually fun games and put hard work into it rather than all of these crap stick figure ‘games’

  • Fun free game! RTS too

Granted there is only 16 free levels (only 4 more for paid) this game is a breath of fresh air! The skirmish replayability is amazing. Only one 30 second ad before starting a level/attempt is good! Pay to remove them with premium!

If you don’t want to pay you still have a few hours of fun. Great game

  • Kinda good

The game is nice and easy to understand. However I keep having glitches where the game just froze and I couldn’t move anything or save the game. I keep having to reset the game and I lost all of my progress. It’s really frustrating. It happened twice in the same stage and I keep having to start it all over again.

  • Fantastic!

Love the art style, it’s got all the basics of an rts and needs nothing more to be honest. As much as I’d love to see a more in depth research tree and different unit types and whatnot the game doesn’t need it and would likely suffer if such was added. Now if y’all were to make another game that was further in depth it would be lovely. Only reason this is a 4/5 is that I ran into a bug where my units were stuck on a settlement and can’t be selected to be moved. I don’t know why this happens but it’s quite infuriating. Other than that this game is a 10/10

  • Fun little RTS, but early in development (I hope!)

I had a great time playing through the free levels. There are important improvements needed, even if only in making the gameplay clearer (I’m still not certain what the crops do).

Obviously I’d love to see more free levels, or a PVP mode, but for a free game it was great fun for a day or two.
  • Good premise but needs work

I like the simple style, it’s really easy to get into. I encountered a couple of bugs where my touch inputs weren’t recognized. When your army gets bigger it also becomes harder to control since soldiers don’t pass through each other when they are a full unit, it becomes a mess. Plus the action to order a troop to defend a place gets overwritten by the “rendezvous all troops”, it becomes frustrating since i have to control each troop to go where i want them to so that other troops stay in place, it makes the game longer than it should be. Overall great premise but rough around the edges, i would recommend it if the gameplay became more fluid.
