Quick and easy
I’m renewing my UK passport (online in the US), and the UK Passport Photo app made it so easy. I just downloaded the app to my phone; opened the app and followed all the simple instructions; asked my friend to take a photo of me using the app; and clicked submit. Within 12 hours I received an email containing my photo digital code, and the app had cropped and produced my photos for me. Couldn’t have been easier!

This app made it so easy to get my children’s online photos to renew their uk passports. It’s really tricky to get these photos in usa but this app made it simple!! You just take the photo, pay a small fee and then you’ll get a code to use for your online passport application. Thank you!!!!hayzer58
Very disappointed amended to very pleased
I downloaded this app. Took photos, paid £9.98 for photos by email within 24 hours. I am still waiting 5 days later and cannot respond to the email that I was sent. Not happy at all!
I wrote the above review. Management contacted me and I found that the email had gone into my spam folder.

This app is amazing! It gives you the opportunity to take as many pictures as you like (obviously against a plain background) until you are happy with your photo. You then simply select your image and upload for printing. I requested the £4.99 postal options and received 6 ready cut passport photos within 48hrs - My plain ivory background had been edited to a brilliant white and you would never know that the image had been taken on a mobile phone at home! I 100% recommend this app, it’s simple to use, and hassle free.Show lessahakwn

I was trying to renew my UK passport online. I discovered that I needed a digital photo code which would automatically attach my passport photo to the application. Having checked at all the pharmacies, etc., in my area, there appeared to be no way of getting a digital photo code! I then found this online app which was brilliant. It was very simple to use and to my amazement, I received my photo code within an hour! Very happy with this.
I should have mentioned that I live in Florida, and apparently digital photo codes are not widely available here, whereas apparently they are in the UK.Show lessigiveuptryingtogetanickname

Downloaded this app assuming it’s a free self use service but it did not have any warnings. It asks you for payment even for just online option only. The app should warn in advance about this. Understand most apps have pay extra services for editing and checking but should also have free self use option as well. Just leave it, and take phone directly on a good quality phone or iPhone and it can be edited using usual pic editing features on phone. Uploaded it and got accepted.Show lessSilent whisperer

Dear User We all love free stuff but I'm afraid photo code doesn't fall into that category yet. Many people assume this would be done automatically but we have a team of professionals who manually generate the codes for passport photo. Prices are clearly mentioned on the first page of our website. £4.99 covers all the expanses including salaries, Govt taxes, rent. business rates, bills etc. thanks for installing our app and your feedback.Great App
This App is so needed and works great, during lockdown getting passport photo for a baby is hard, I used my phone to take pics and was skeptical if it would be accepted , ordered photos paid using Apple Pay which is so much easier and great news passport arrived today. Works well. Quick turnaround and the final product that is returned is a convincing replica of what you’d get in a photo booth (with the colour and shading removed from the background).
Would be good to know the degree of variance you can have in the background to still get an acceptable result without the need to have to gamble the payment against the chance that the result may not end up useable.
A photo booth gives guidance as to whether the result is expected to be acceptable and you can opt to try again. You don’t get that luxury with this app, so you are risking a payment for a potentially unusable result. (If that’s not the case you need to make this clearer in the instructions in the app).Show lessLittle Infinity

I’m quite happy with this app, just know about it last week when I’m searching for photo passport app as I need to take photo of someone else bot me and I found it, reliable and professional service. Easy to use and safety payment through Paypal. The price also cheaper than the photo booth ( £5/ person), it’s 2p cheaper using app for 2 people. Delivery to your house or digital options available. Good idea when you don’t have time or desperate of finding way to take an ID photo for you or someone else for the application.Show lessCB_0211

This app was by far the easiest app for passport photos I have ever used , we are a big family and have used other apps before , but it took longer and was more taxing than this app. The pictures come out perfect and the guidelines and instructions are very easy to understand. I recommended the app to friends whose English is a second language and they were able to use it with ease.Show lessremes1
