  • Useless

Inaccurate bug/fish availability; calendar not available; cannot find current villagers. Don't waste your time!
  • Needs more info

I bought the thing to stop the ads, it's a nice app, but I hope the data is updated soon. Also, an option to choose which hemisphere we are in would be good
  • Love it!

I had never played an Animal Crossing game before New Horizons came out, so this app is very helpful! I like being able to know what fish/bugs are in season, where I can catch them, and what shadow size they are. I also really like the recipe section that shows where you can obtain certain recipes. The only complaint I would have is that I think the rarity of certain fish/bugs is incorrect. For example, it lists the common butterfly and yellow butterfly as “very rare” or “rare” but they are actually very common. This app has great potential, though!

  • Still so much improvement to do

I used to use a companion app for New Leaf which was really good so I was excited when I found this app. It is kind of similar. Overall the app looks really unprofessional and unpolished, but I can get over that. What I can’t get over is the fact that I can’t go to other pages within a 15 second span without getting an ad that has such small X symbols that when I press them they take me on a journey through my safari and the app store. I’m sorry, I know y’all need to make money, but the amount of ads on this app is astronomically bad. This wouldn’t be as much of a problem, maybe, if you could check off your bugs, fish, and villagers from the list and not have to click on each individual one. I’m sure the developers are just thirsty for money though, as is the rest of them on this app store.

  • Love the app but few issues

The notifications don’t seem to work, and the catchable right shows nothing other than that I love it
  • Off to a great start!

Glad to see some of the new fish and bugs added to the list. Still wondering when we will be able to mark our fossils. Hoping for a catalog in the future as right now I’m using an excel spreadsheet. But for how long the game has been out it’s off to a good start.
  • Doesn’t work.

There’s no way to select what villagers you have in your town. You can select favorites but in my opinion favorites should be different than who is in your town. That is possible on the good apps that were made for A New Leaf.

Trying to check off things I’ve caught. When you check the spot that says “Show only what’s catchable right now” yet I have several fish and bugs that are catchable right now that are not showing up.

There’s no way to check off items that you’ve acquired. That was available in the good apps that were made for A New Leaf which made it easier to decide if you’re going to buy something or not so you don’t buy doubles accidentally.

The app is very cheap looking. It doesn’t look professional. It looks thrown together.

Ads are too frequent and annoying for such a minuscule app.

The app has been updated with more accurate data from New Horizons. The New Leaf data was used as a placeholder until the new game came out. Check it out! Note: It may take a little more time to get all the accurate catching times for bugs and fish
  • Great App (Edited)

I’m a huge fan of animal crossing games, and most of the information about bugs and fish are accurate! The only problem is, is MOST bugs and fish, hopefully they will do research and find out what time and what place fish and bugs spawn. They don’t have all information due to not being the correct month and they can’t get the information (Although they can skip there time on the switch 🤔) I do like the idea of using reminders inside the app, it’s very useful for a villagers birthday or a reminder to pick weeds.

  • Increasingly better app!

The developer keeps updating the app with more accurate information within the game. I take back my poor review and can wholeheartedly recommend this app to friends and family if data continues being updated!
  • Good but needs update

Edit: it has been updated and it’s a very handy guide. Keeping track of what you catch and what neighbors you have is a lot easier. Now if it’d have a fossil list, as well, it’d be 5 stars easy.

Only thing wrong with the app is that the newer bugs/fish were not added yet, which was what I was using the app for. I caught a paper kite butterfly and couldn’t check it off because it wasn’t there. Please add the new creatures and I’ll up the star count.
